The Influence of Flapping Hinge on Swashplatc-Less Rotor

摘要
We investigate the effect of the flapping hinge and its offset on the canted hinge swashplate-less rotor. By using helicopter rotor flapping analysis theory, we derive the kinematic and dynamic model of the swashplate-less rotor with flapping hinge. The theoretical calculation shows that adding the flapping hinge will increase the flapping range of blade, and its offset can provide additional hub torque to increase the maneuverability of UAVs. Finally, we conduct a test bench experiment to validate the results.
