In this article, a novel power divider structure based on the Klopfenstein tapered line is presented. In order to achieve excellent isolation performance, the form of isolation resistance film is used instead of multiple insulation resistances. With this method, a UWB power divider from 0.5 GHz to 40 GHz is realized. The input and output reflection performance are both less than −20dB, the output isolation performance is less than −20dB, and the insertion loss is within 6dB (including the theoretical 3dB insertion loss).
