A Gradual-thickness Structure of Magnetoelectric Antenna Based on Multiferroic Materials

摘要
In this work, a novel structure of antenna based on magnetoelectric (ME) coupling effect is proposed. The ME antenna is made of a Metglas/PZT/Metglas gradual-thickness structure and composed of three different resonant regions. Due to the use of gradual-thickness PZT material, the vibration mode of ME antenna can be controlled though the switch of the electrodes on the PZT material, while the resonant frequency and near-field radiation also are changed. The new structure ME antenna provides a new solution for the near-field radiation wave manipulation of the mechanical antenna.
