Collaborative Focusing of Distributed Wireless Nodes Based on Time Reversal

Abstract
This paper presents a solution about distributed wireless nodes collaboration based on time reversal (TR). The self-mixing receiver is used to provide frequency-synchronized signals for each node. The coherence at the target of 2.45 GHz sinusoidal signals sent from multiple nodes is realized. The efficiency of signal amplitudes coherence among nodes can reach 90%. The simulated and measured results of received power distribution near the focusing position agree well.
