A Planar End-fire Wideband Circularly Polarized Antenna Using Multiple Magnetic Dipoles

摘要
A planar end-fire wideband circularly polarized antenna using multiple magnetic dipoles is proposed. It is demonstrated that when two rectangular loops are properly incorporated, the bandwidth is enhanced with two resonances. Simulation results verify that the proposed antenna exhibits an impedance bandwidth of 15.9% which is two times larger than the counterpart with only one loop. In addition, it features low complexity without extra phase shift line, low profile and stable radiation pattern.
