Dual-Circularly Polarized Aperture-Shared Filtennas with High Isolation for K/Ka-band Satellite Applications

摘要
In this paper, a dual-band dual-circularly polarized aperture-shared filtennas system with high isolation is proposed for k/ka-band satellite applications. Higher-band (HB) filtenna is stacked on top of lower-band (LB) filtenna. The stopband of HB filtenna is achieved with a back cavity and two parasitic ring patches. The stopband of LB filtenna is achieved with a parasitic crossed patch and an M-dipole. The isolations between two filtenna were achieved more than 50 dB in the lower band and more than 60 dB in the upper band. Thus, the proposed filtennas system could be a good candidate for k/ka-band satellite applications.
