Latest Progress in Performance Enhancement of Metalens Antennas

In this paper, challenges and solutions to performance enhancement of metalens antennas are updated. First, design challenges of high aperture efficiency, low scan loss and sidelobe level suppression of metalens antennas with minimal layers are discussed. Then, the solutions to addressing the challenges are presented with case study.
