Microstructure observation and viscoelastic relationship of surface modified rubber composites

Rubber has been widely used in industrial production and life, but its performance can be affected due to the change of its structure. Viscoelasticity is one of the important characteristics of rubber materials. Adding additives such as carbon black in the production process can form viscoelastic rubber, which can improve its viscoelasticity and reduce the aging and delayed damage of rubber. Carbon black is an important reinforcing agent in rubber industry, but its main raw materials are petroleum and coal tar, which can cause serious environmental pollution in production and processing. Based on the study of the interfacial viscoelasticity of lignin and rubber, the structure and viscoelasticity model of rubber composite were constructed. The results showed that the surface roughness of lignin rubber composite was significantly improved after modification; the contents and types of various elements in materials were very different; in the sample modification test, the viscoelasticity of the modified lignin rubber composite was 8.74% higher than that of the untreated wood, indicating that the viscoelasticity of the modified lignin rubber composite was significantly improved after surface modification.
