摘要
Food insecurity influences physical and mental health. A community-based home food delivery program has the potential to improve food insecurity among community members. This study assesses clients' physical and mental health status and perception of a community-based home food delivery service in Flint, Michigan, using 106 survey responses collected in March 2020. Respondents reported poorer health status compared to Michigan residents. Content analysis identified three key areas of satisfaction and helpfulness: food quality (nutritious items), service delivery (timely delivery), and assistance needs (high food cost). The findings suggest areas of and directions for improvement of the current services.
