摘要
2D perovskite materials have merged as a novel addition to the family of saturable absorbers, offering the capability to generate high-energy and ultrashort pulses due to their distinct optoelectronic properties, as well as their structure and chemical versatility. In recent times, numerous reports have highlighted the progress of ultrafast pulsed lasers utilizing perovskite materials, which indicates a positive and promising outlook for advancements in this area. This review provides a summary of the crystal structure and nonlinear optical properties of perovskite materials. Fabrication methods of perovskites are divided into hybrid organic–inorganic, all-inorganic perovskite materials, and Ruddlesden-Popper perovskite materials based on their components. Subsequently, we provided a systematic introduction to ultrafast lasers that utilized perovskite materials across different spectral bands. Finally, an analysis of present challenges and perspectives for the advancement of ultrafast lasers facilitated by perovskite materials is presented.
