Research on Multi-Time Scale Optimization of a Regional Integrated Energy System with Coupled Cooling, Heating and Electricity

With the diversification of users' energy needs, the original independent operation of cold, hot and electric systems can no longer meet the trend of the times. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-timescale optimization model of regional integrated energy system(RIES) considering the coupling of cooling, heating and electricity. Firstly, a multi-flow equipment model of RIES is constructed. Then, a price-based demand response model is established to calculate the load demand after peak shaving and valley filling. Afterwards, the day-ahead scheduling plan of each equipment for the next 24 hours is solved. Finally, the cooling/heating and power supply equipment is subjected to multi-time scales with the objective of the total adjustment and the lowest operating cost, so as to realize 15-minute scheduling of power supply and hourly scheduling of cooling/heating equipment in the RIES. The RIES of Jiangsu Township Industrial Park is taken as the research object for simulation verification. The result shows that the optimization model proposed in this paper can effectively dissipate PV output, suppress peak and valley loads, reduce system operating costs and improve system reliability.
