Load Regulation Margin Analysis for Aluminum Electrolysis Based on Operational State Identification

This paper proposes a load regulation margin analysis method considering the operational state of the aluminum electrolysis rectification system. Firstly, a comparative analysis is conducted on the characteristics of harmonic voltage content, harmonic current magnitude, and fundamental power at the common connection point under different operational states of the rectification system. Then, by combining the reference values of characteristic sub-harmonic voltage content, harmonic current magnitude, and fundamental power obtained through simulation, the operational state of the rectification system is identified through correlation analysis, and the load regulation margin analysis results for aluminum electrolysis are obtained. Finally, a simulation model of a specific aluminum electrolysis enterprise is established, and the effectiveness of the proposed load regulation margin analysis method is verified under different operating conditions.
