摘要
Abstract Accurate assessment of pediatric vital signs is critical for detecting abnormalities and guiding medical interventions, but establishing normal ranges is challenging due to physiological variations. Efficient tools for clinical use are necessary. Our study analyzed 1,369,608 records from the National Emergency Department Information System of Korea, focusing on patients under 15 years old admitted between January 2016 and December 2017. We developed age-specific centile curves for systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate, integrating them into a web-based application at http://centile.research.or.kr. As a result of the study, a comprehensive set of centile curves was derived for systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate based on age. The web application allows users to input patient data and promptly obtain centile and z-score information for vital signs, which can be an efficient tool for pediatric vital sign assessment helping early detection of abnormalities and improving patient care in various clinical settings.
