Computer Aided Design of Nonlinear Systems’ Emulators with Analog Circuit
2024 Panhellenic Conference on Electronics & Telecommunications (PACET)(2024)
Abstract
Circuit design constitutes a pillar of electronics, essential for both educational and research purposes. Design of system’s analog emulator is specially crucial in the field of nonlinear dynamics and chaos, as it allows the verification of theoretical results and also enables the implementation of the system in hardware engineering applications. Until now, researchers had to manually design and tune parameters of such emulators by hand. In this direction, this work introduces a novel application that given a system of nonlinear, polynomial differential equations, automatically designs an electronic circuit emulator of the system. Key focus points of the designed application are the efficient design, that is, avoiding unnecessary use of circuit components, and the readability of the results. Feasibility of the method is investigated by obtaining and analyzing the results for a 4dimensional nonlinear system.
