Modified QuEChERS based optimization method coupled with LC-MS/MS for quantification of Dinitramine

The market for herbicides is expanding rapidly, driven by the ongoing need to effectively manage weed control in agriculture. Extensive research has been conducted to know the potential toxicity of herbicides towards non-target organisms. Dinitramine (DIN), a herbicide, exhibits toxicity towards humans and causes potential health risks. In this study, tandem liquid chromatography mass spectrometry was coupled with a modified QuEChERS technique to quantify the presence of herbicides in biological matrices. All samples of concentrations ranging from 5 to 200 ng/mL, were quantified within 15 % of the target with a high recovery rate of >74 %.
