An Optimization Mechanism of Routing Protocol for Integrated CISR Networks

Due to the dynamic topology structure, high-speed mobility, and limited energy resources of Integrated Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (CISR) Networks, we propose an Optimized Fish-eye Adaptive On-demand Distance Vector (FEAODV) routing protocol. Adaptive beam antenna and fish-eye technology are added to the traditional on-demand routing protocol, reducing the update frequency of remote node information, optimizing traffic control in the network. Due to signal interference, network congestion, dynamic topology, and long distances between UAVs, we also propose a cross-layer routing diagnostic policy determine the effectiveness of the route simultaneously with traffic transmission to verify the validity of the route. Simulation results show that the FEAODV protocol has significant advantages in reducing delay and routing overhead, improving group delivery rate of Integrated CISR Networks.
