摘要
Domain wall-based synapse structures are studied via micromagnetic simulations and a collective coordinate model to understand the impact of device geometry on the thermal stability and depinning current requirements. Results show that, for a given thermal stability, the depinning currents can be lowered by optimizing the geometry, but at the expense of longer track lengths and larger pulse widths. A Gaussian model for the pinning potential is also proposed to explain the micromagnetic results.
