摘要
With the rise of wearable devices, designing and fabricating suitable microneedles (MNs) for healthcare is becoming a necessity. A common application of MNs is in transdermal wound healing. This study presents macroporous MNs fabricated using two-photon polymerization for enhanced drug delivery. These needles are backloaded, allowing for higher dosages, and are mechanically stable enough to pierce the skin. The pores allow the MN to deliver an area coverage over 20 times greater than that achieved by conventional hollow MNs.
