摘要
Fe-based amorphous alloy coatings (Fe-AACs) have exhibited appropriate corrosion and wear resistance and improved the performance of material surfaces. This study summarizes the advances related to Fe-based amorphous alloys pertaining to their chemical compositions and manufacturing processes and their associated effect on the amorphous structure, microstructure, and properties. In particular, Fe-based amorphous alloy coatings produced by laser cladding are investigated to study the effect of amorphous structure, partial crystallization, and composition on the microstructure, hardness, corrosion, and wear resistance of these coatings. In addition, the effects of laser parameters (power and scanning speed) on the geometric and metallurgical characteristics of produced amorphous coatings are also covered. This review summarizes the advances related to Fe-based amorphous alloys pertaining to their chemical compositions and manufacturing processes and their associated effect on the amorphous structure, microstructure, and properties. In particular, Fe-based amorphous alloy coatings produced by laser cladding are investigated. image (c) 2024 WILEY-VCH GmbH
