A Review of Different Shared Energy Storage Models

摘要
In the context of the New Type Power System, energy storage (ES) has wide applications in generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. However, its development still faces challenges such as high initial investment costs and low equipment utilization. Shared energy storage (SES), as a new paradigm to improve resource utilization efficiency and promote intensive development, provides a new solution to these problems. This paper analyzes the necessity of research and development in SES in the context of the New Type Power System. It categorizes and analyzes the application models and scenarios of SES. Furthermore, it provides an overview of the current research status of SES domestically and internationally, summarizes the research status in terms of business models, optimal configuration, and optimal scheduling, and analyzes the advantages and limitations of different SES transaction models. It also discusses engineering practices.
