We demonstrate a novel silicon-photonic-based Physically Unclonable Function (PUF) using grating-assisted contra-directional couplers integrated with perforated microring resonators. In the worst-case scenario, our device exhibits at least a 0.18 Hamming distance from the destined PUF.
