摘要
An accurate and least complexity millimeter-wave three-ray pathloss model with polarization effects was developed for indoor SISO scenarios and implemented in MATLAB. The TE polarized pathloss had larger variations than the TM polarized one. Then, validation using ray tracing gave path losses in an indoor corridor with median differences of 3.016 dB LOS, 1.873 dB NLOS floor, and 2.286 dB NLOS roof. Next, the model was also validated using MoM. This simulations gave mean path loss errors from 2–7 percent of the MoM mean path losses. The path loss was more accurate with TM polarization. Our model is innovative in that- it explicitly incorporates polarization effects; it is less complex, faster, and cheaper than MoM and ray tracing; it does not need large number of meshes and rays; it has no expensive skill and time requirements. Hence, it is suitable for low complexity and low cost applications such as wireless sensor link budget and node location computations.
