摘要
Chloride attacks is one of the main causes that lead to deterioration of reinforced concrete(RC) structures in marine environment. Organic inhibitors as the green, environmental and economic material are applied to delay the onset of corrosion, reduce the corrosion rate and prolong the service life of RC structures effectively. This paper review summarizes the state of the art, including the classification of organic inhibitors, inhibition mechanisms and evaluation measurements. According to an overview on recent developments, the limitation can be concluded that focusing research on initial time for the lifespan of RC structures is the most important part to improve the whole service life. Moreover, comparison of organic inhibitors in plenty of literatures, there are still many questions to understand relationships between organic inhibitors, chloride and the steel bar in order to find solutions that can be better protection for RC structures. This review also sets up the method process to explore mechanisms and evaluate efficiency of organic inhibitors.
