TRABECULAR BONE TEXTURE IS ASSOCIATED WITH ANATOMICAL PHASES OF OSTEOARTHRITIS EVOLUTION IN FINGER JOINTS: THE NOR-HAND COHORT
OSTEOARTHRITIS AND CARTILAGE(2024)
摘要
Purpose (the aim of the study): Trabecular bone (TB) texture may serve as a biomarker for hand osteoarthritis (OA). In previous studies, differences have been found in TB texture between finger joints with and without radiographic OA, and associations have been reported between TB texture on hand radiographs and MRI-defined osteophytes in finger joints without radiographic OA. However, changes of TB texture with anatomical phases in the evolution of hand OA have not yet been studied. Thus, we explore such potential differences in TB texture in finger joints.
