Single-cell transcriptomic analysis identifies infiltrating plasmacytoid dendritic cells in psoriasis epidermis.

Our study unveils the cellular and molecular dynamics in psoriasis epidermis, revealing diverse cell states and their interactions driving inflammation and altered developmental trajectories. Importantly, a previously overlooked plasmacytoid dendritic cell cluster with inflammatory properties was identified in the epidermis of chronic psoriasis lesions, suggesting their potential roles in psoriasis.
