In this article, we aim to explore online misogyny on social media in the context of Bangladesh, focusing on how these platforms perpetuate gender-based abuse against women. We also employ Social Media Engagement theory to thematically analyze a substantial dataset of 5,929 Facebook comments. These comments were derived from a purposeful selection of sixty news stories shared on the Facebook pages of prominent Bangladeshi news media outlets, including Daily Prothom Alo, The Daily Star, Somoy Television, Jamuna Television, Bdnews24.com, and NewsBangla24.com, within the time frame from January 1, 2020, to January 1, 2024. Our exploration revealed that around 46.57% comments were identified as misogynistic bullying. Additionally, 21.84% comments contained aggressive slang and insults, while 19.77% reflected mockery and trolling of women. A notable 11.82% comments involved shaming and humiliating behaviour towards women. These findings are indicative of a male-dominated societal structure where derogatory labels such as nosta (jezebel), oslil (nasty), magi (slut), khanki (prostitute) pazil mahila (vulgar woman), badjat mahila (ignorant woman), chata mal (sucking girls), hebbi seksy (so sexy), bessa meye (whore girl), buker akar (breast size), pacha (hip), nirlojjo mahila (shameless woman), and divorse nare (divorced women) are frequently applied to women. Furthermore, our analysis reveals that around 93.05% of the misogynistic comments originated from male users, emphasizing the role of gender identity in shaping the social status of women. Our study also emphasizes the disproportionate levels of gender-based abuse against women, particularly as it manifests in sexual harassment and derogatory messages, often from anonymous sources on social media platforms. We conclude our study by identifying key contributions that indicate necessary policy implications and the importance of social awareness initiatives aimed at creating a safer online environment for women.
The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between return on assets (ROA) and indicators from the CAMELS model. In addition, compare the performance of third- and fourth-generation banks in Bangladesh for the period 2013–2023, using the CAMELS rating model. By using the percent root test, the variables are stationary at the first difference; the results of the Im, Pesaran, and Shin (IPS) percent root and Hausman tests are the recommended fixed-effect models and FMOLS models to measure output. Evaluating the regression result for the third-generation banks, it is observed that capital adequacy and sensitivity to market risk have a significant positive relationship with return on assets (ROA), whereas asset quality, management efficiency, and liquidity ratio have an insignificant negative correlation with ROA. Simultaneously, we observe a positive yet insignificant relationship with earning capacity. Furthermore, evaluating the fourth-generation banks, it is observed that capital adequacy and asset quality have a significant negative impact, and management efficiency and sensitivity have a significant positive effect on ROA. This study has the potential to contribute to and be applicable to the financial sector in Bangladesh by accumulating new concepts and conducting a comparative analysis of financial performance between generations of banks.
This study investigates soliton dynamics and chaotic analysis of the (1 + 1)-dimensional Hamilton amplitude (HA) model, which arises in mathematical physics. Using two improved ways, namely the improved Kudryashov and the improved (G'/G) -expansion approaches, we get periodic waves, periodic breathers, periodic waves with local breathers, double periodic waves, multiple breathers, multiple periodic waves, and single breather waves. To visually confirm these solutions analytically and numerically, we employ 3D, 2D, and overlapping phenomena by scatter plots. We also use various tools to examine chaotic dynamics in the governing model, including power spectra, return maps, bifurcation plots, Lyapunov exponents, fractal dimensions, recurrence plots, basins of attraction, and strange attractor plots. The outcomes show that our employed scheme is more effective, reliable, and simpler than existing schemes.
Multi-agent systems achieve state-of-the-art outcomes through peer collaboration. However, when an agent in the pipeline silently drops a constraint, the system's final output may look correct even though the reasoning chain was quietly corrupted, and existing outcome-based evaluations are blind to such multi-hop process failures. To make these vulnerabilities measurable before deployment, we introduce AgentCollabBench, a diagnostic benchmark of 900 human-validated tasks spanning software engineering, DevOps, and data engineering. Each task isolates one of four behavioral risks: instruction decay (does a constraint survive peer pressure?), false-belief contagion (does a falsehood spread through consensus?), context leakage (does information bleed between tasks?), and tracer durability (does marked data reach the final agent?). Evaluating four modern LLMs (GPT 4.1 mini, Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite, Qwen-3.5-35B-A3B, and Llama 3.1 8B Instruct), we expose model-specific vulnerability profiles invisible to outcome-only evaluation; Qwen-3.5-35B-A3B, for example, leads on tracer durability and instruction stability, while GPT 4.1 mini leads on leakage containment and false-belief resistance. Beyond per-model differences, communication topology emerges as a primary risk factor that explains 7-40
Owing to the high permeability, high resistivity and high saturation magnetization, spinel NiFe2O4 (NFO) is superior to its other ferrite counterparts. Herein, we report the low-temperature hydrothermal growth of Sm3+ functionalized spinel NiFe2-xSmxO4 (x = 0.0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075 and 0.1) and the resulting effects on the various properties of NiFe2O4. X-ray diffraction confirmed the dopant concentration-dependent spinel NiFe2-xSmxO4 (NFSO) formation with crystallite sizes of 25-31 nm while SEM/TEM imaging revealed their porous-agglomerated structures. EDS and FTIR studies verified the desired ferrite compositions with characteristic spinel bands (350-600) cm(-1). UV-Vis spectroscopy demonstrated optical band gap tuning from 2.3 to 5.5 eV. While maximum dielectric constant (epsilon = 69.67) was noted for x = 0.075, sample with x = 0.1 exhibited the highest electric modulus. Although the samples exhibited lossy ferroelectricity, Nyquist plots indicated non-Debye-type conductivity. Furthermore, magnetic measurements depicted soft magnetic behavior with maximum saturation magnetization, M-s = 47.69 emu/g for x = 0.025. All these analyses demonstrate that Sm3+ substitution successfully tailors the multifunctional properties of spinel NiFe2O4, making the newly developed NiFe2-xSmxO4 a promising material for radiation filters, UV-detectors, UV-and magnetic sensors, inductors, microwave and high-frequency devices, and energy storage applications.
