Fredericksburg Independent School District is a public school district based in Fredericksburg, Texas (USA).In addition to Fredericksburg, the district serves the unincorporated communities of Stonewall, Luckenbach, Willow City, and Albert. In this section of our text, we review "Responsibility to Supervisees and Trainees." This section includes discussion on topics relating to compliance with supervision requirements, supervisory competence, supervisory volume, and accountability in supervision. In addition, in this section we discuss topics related to incorporating and addressing diversity in supervision activities, as well as appropriately delegating tasks to others, evaluating the effects of supervision and training, facilitating continuity of supervision, and appropriately terminating supervision activities.
In this section of our text, we review "Responsibility in Practice." This section includes discussion on topics such as providing effective treatment, protecting confidential information, document protection and retention, accuracy in billing and reporting, and considerations when communicating about services. This section also addresses involving clients and stakeholders in programming decisions, collaborating with colleagues, obtaining consent, and considering medical needs, as well as such topics as collecting and using data, evaluating behavior change programs, and addressing conditions that interfere with service delivery.
In this section of our text, we review "Responsibility as a Professional." This section includes discussion on topics such as being truthful, practicing within a defined role and scope of competence, maintaining competence, cultural responsiveness, considerations for avoiding multiple relationships and conflicts of interest, parameters around giving and receiving gifts, and other related topics.
