In lake ecosystems, epiphytic multitrophic microbial communities in submerged macrophytes exert crucial effects on host plant growth. However, the mechanisms by which their food webs assemble and sustain maintain remain unexplored. This study examined three dominant macrophyte species in Caohai Lake, Guizhou Province. 16S and 18S rRNA amplicon sequencing data of epiphytic from three dominant macrophyte was used to characterize the assembly processes of epiphytic microbial food webs during summer and autumn. Our analysis identifies four key findings: (1) assembly processes displayed trophic-level specificity. The communities of metazoans, heterotrophic bacteria, protists, and fungi were shaped mainly by host-driven selection, as reflected in the host-environment effects index (HEEI) values of 1.78, 1.46, 1.29, and 1.18, respectively, whereas attached algae were influenced primarily by environmental fluctuations, demonstrating weaker host dependence (HEEI=0.57); (2) heterotrophic bacteria with a broad niche index (59.79) were predominantly structured by deterministic processes (45
Iron(III) and copper(II) ions are ubiquitous in the environment, posing potential risks to the environment and human health, which urgently demands rapid detection methods. In this study, a ratiometric fluorescent probe was developed by integrating biomass-based carbon dots with rhodamine B (RhB) for the rapid and accurate detection of Fe³⁺ and Cu²⁺. Under normal conditions, the strong coordination ability of Fe³⁺ and Cu²⁺ enables them to rapidly occupy the active sites on the surface of carbon dots (CDs), resulting in rapid fluorescence changes. RhB provides a stable reference signal and achieves self-calibrated dual-emission output, thereby reducing matrix and environmental interferences. To address the coexistence of Fe³⁺ and Cu²⁺ in practical detection, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) was introduced as a selective masking agent, which preferentially forms a stable complex with Fe³⁺. This reduces the signal interference of Fe³⁺ in low-concentration systems and realizes highly selective detection of Cu²⁺. In the detection of Cu²⁺ in actual water samples, the probe exhibits high sensitivity (4.91 µM) and favorable accuracy with recoveries ranging from 97.3
In the paper, we have carried out research on the - decay process. We employ two different currents to study the - transition form factors (TFFs) by using the light-cone sum rule within the framework of chiral current approach. Firstly, we follow the right-handed and left-handed currents for the correlators to present the expression of the vector form factors upto next-leading-order and leading-order accuracy, respectively. Here the twist-2 and twist-3 light-cone distribution amplitudes are constructed by the light-cone harmonic oscillator model. After exploring the TFFs into the whole physical 2-region with the simplified -series expansion, we obtain the branching fractions B(0--+)I =0.31+0.05-0.05%,B(+- 0+)I=0.39+0.06-0.06%, B(0--+)II = 0.27+0.05-0.03%, B(+- 0+)II=0.34+0.06-0.04%, and extract the CKM matrix element | |I = 0.21+0.02-0.02as well as | |II =0.23+0.02-0.02. To verify the credibility of our calculations, these results are further compared with existing findings in the literature, showing good agreement within uncertainties.
Hypericum monogynum L. is a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating inflammatory disorders and infectious diseases. Seven new polyprenylated acylphloroglucinols (PPAPs) and seven known PPAPs were isolated from the flowers of H. monogynum. Structurally, compound 1 features the first rearranged PPAP with a fascinating spirocyclic 5/6/6 ring system, and compound 2 is the first example of a highly modified PPAP featuring a rare 6/5/5/5-tetracyclic system. Compound 7 is the first highly degraded PPAP. Their structures were elucidated through comprehensive analysis of HRESIMS, NMR spectroscopy, and electronic circular dichroism calculations. Additionally, five PPAPs exhibited potential multidrug resistance (MDR) reversal activity in MCF-7/ADR cells with reversal fold (RF) values ranging from 9 to 56. Notably, compound 3, the strongest MDR modulator, showed a reversal effect (RF = 56) superior to the positive control verapamil (RF = 53) at an equivalent concentration. Furthermore, primary mechanistic investigation indicated that compound 10 inhibits P-gp transport function without affecting its expression. The potential recognition mechanism between compound 10 and P-gp was predicted by molecular docking.
Waterborne polyurethane (WPU) has the advantage of good flexibility in the coating film, high and low-temperature resistance, and the advantages of environmental protection. Currently, there is a high demand for flame-retardant WPU. Herein, a flame-retardantcomposites (WPU/BN@APP/DIDOPO) is successfully developed by incorporating ammonium polyphosphate (APP) modified boron nitride (BN@APP) and DOPO derivatives into WPU via simple casting technology. The results indicate that BN@APP formed the intended composite structure and was well dispersed in the WPU matrix. This system significantly enhanced the char residue at 700 ℃ from 0.23
