The transition of the automotive sector towards autonomous mobility requires a sophisticated amalgamation of cutting-edge hardware, redundant software frameworks, and accurate mathematical modeling. This research examines the technologies that facilitate autonomy in passenger vehicles, highlighting the shift from distributed to centralized zonal systems. The core focus of this study is the development of a unified modeling framework that integrates Kinematic and Dynamic Bicycle Models. Kinematic models prove sufficient for operations at low speeds, while dynamic models are essential for maintaining stability at high speeds, where tire slip and lateral forces gain prominence. This research provides a comprehensive classification of existing designs and introduces a mathematical framework that facilitates transitions between modeling paradigms based on the vehicle's state. A detailed numerical calculus experiment is performed, simulating the transition from a low-speed urban turn to a high-speed interstate lane change. This illustrates the necessity for an integrated modeling approach to ensure safe autonomous navigation.
The observations were made during the year 2022, starting from May to August, in a Lavandula crops in the Raducaneni, stationary from Iasi, located about 40 km from the Iasi city and about 45 km from the Husi city. The existing entomofauna was grouped by taxon categories up to the insect order level, only the coleopterans being determined up to the species level.
The observations were made in 2022 on a goji plantation within the Vinifruct Society, located in Raducaneni, Iasi. To capture the entomofauna, we used Bio-Plantella yellow sticky traps. These were installed in the goji culture in 2022, starting from May until August. The reading of the catches was done periodically, with the naked eye or with the help of a binocular magnifier. The traps were changed every four weeks. Two traps were used at a distance of 10–12 m between them. The determination of the captured material was done with the help of the Raitter and Panin determiners. From the analysis of the material collected at the 2 traps during the observations, the following groups of insects were found in the culture: wasps, cicadas, aphids, coleoptera, ants, etc.
In this paper, we provided the first checklist of alien flora of Buzău County (Romania). Our study revealed the positive invasion trend during recent years. 110 alien taxa were recorded, who belong to 36 families of vascular plants, 52 of them being invasive. The Americas, Asia and the Mediterranean area are the main regions of origin of the taxa of the inventory. Three species are of European Union concern: Ailanthus altissima, Asclepias syriaca and Elodea nuttallii. The most alien plant species were recorded for Buzău and Râmnicu-Sărat cities.
Abstract: Unruptured aneurysms of Valsalva sinus are most often asymptomatic conditions discovered accidentally but with fatal potential whenever complications such as rupture occur. Therefore, whenever incidentally diagnosed, these pathologic conditions should be repaired in order to prevent catastrophic complications and even sudden death. Here we describe a case of an asymptomatic 42 young man with a large unruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (SVA) originating from a noncoronary sinus with a competent tricuspid aortic valve. The diagnosis was made accidentally by transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and confirmed by computed tomography angiography (CA) and cardiac catheterization. The aneurysm was resected on a cardiopulmonary by-pass, and the sinus was successfully reconstructed with a bovine pericardial patch preserving the competence of the native aortic valve. In conclusion, bovine pericardial patch might be successfully used in order to reconstruct Valsalva sinus in cases presenting aneurysmal dilatation at this level.
