The semantic and stylistic features of lexical repetition in the epic language are examined using material from the epic “Manas” in S. Orozbakov’s version. Examples from the epic text are considered, which is an important means of revealing the author’s intent, conveying the psychological state of the characters, describing events, and creating artistic images. The repeated linguistic units acquire additional semantic nuances depending on the context of their use and contribute to the formation of stylistic connotations. Lexical repetition is an important component of the poetics of the epic “Manas,” ensuring its artistic expressiveness, musicality, and communicative effectiveness. The conclusions of the work can be used in further research into the language of the Kyrgyz epic and issues of linguostylistics.
Livestock farming is one of the sources of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. The article presents quantitative estimates of emissions from different types of farm animals using the GLEAM model. The results of modeling for Kyrgyzstan, where extensive forms of livestock farming prevail, are presented. Particular attention is paid to biogas technologies for reducing climate stress. Effective adaptation and mitigation strategies are considered, including improved feeding, manure management and support for low-carbon solutions. The work emphasizes the importance of sustainable livestock development in the face of climate challenges.
In the context of global climate change and the need to transition to sustainable development, the use of renewable energy sources is becoming increasingly important. Biogas, produced through the anaerobic digestion of organic waste, is an efficient and environmentally friendly fuel that simultaneously addresses energy and environmental issues. Biogas is a renewable energy source because its production utilizes abundant waste. Biogas offers several advantages, including environmental friendliness, reduced energy production costs, and improved economic conditions in rural areas. For the Issyk-Kul region, where livestock farming and agriculture are actively developed, biogas production represents a viable alternative to traditional energy sources. Its use reduces atmospheric pollution by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, decreasing the use of coal and firewood, and utilizing waste efficiently. This article examines the technological foundations of biogas production, its environmental and socioeconomic significance, and the prospects for its implementation in the Issyk-Kul region as an element of a green economy.
The study examines the impact of blended learning in school mathematics, with a focus on digital enhancements to traditional instruction. As part of the pedagogical experiment, which lasted 8 weeks, 80 students of the tenth grade from three schools in Kyrgyzstan were randomly divided into control and experimental groups. A mixed-methods design was used, combined a pedagogical experiment, comparative analysis, and a supplementary questionnaire survey. Digital platforms (Wolfram Alpha, Photomath, GeoGebra, Desmos, and Compass) were integrated into the experimental group’s curriculum, while the control group used only conventional methods. Comparative analysis of post-test results using the Mastery Coefficient (K) revealed a statistically significant advantage for the EG: the EG improved from K = 0.85 to K = 0.96 (ΔK = +0.11), nearly three times the gain observed in the CG (K = 0.82 to K = 0.86; ΔK = +0.04). The difference in score distributions following the intervention was confirmed as statistically significant ( X_emp^2 > X_crit^2 ,X_crit^2 = 7.815, p < 0.05) , with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.9). The study’s novelty lies in providing empirical evidence for digitally enhanced mathematics instruction in Central Asia, a context where such models remain largely untested.
This article presents the results of a study on sustainable tourism in the city of Karakol. The research was conducted by Issyk-Kul State University named after K. Tynystanov in cooperation with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation. A quantitative approach was applied, using face-to-face interviews conducted with smartphones. Data collection took place from October 25 to 30, 2023, involving 541 local residents. Random sampling procedures were employed, and interviews were carried out in various public gathering places across Karakol. Smartphones and the KoboToolbox application were used for data collection. The purpose of the study was to assess public opinion on the contribution of tourism to the city’s development and to identify issues of concern to residents related to tourism. The experiences, opinions, and satisfaction of Karakol’s residents are key factors in shaping the future of the city’s tourism sector. Such research provides valuable insights for improving the quality of life of local communities through sustainable tourism development. Implementing the recommendations will enable Karakol as a destination to enhance residents’ well-being while preserving its natural, historical, and cultural values.
