Novolipetsk Steel, or NLMK, is one of the four largest steel companies in Russia. NLMK's share of domestic crude steel production is about 21%. It primarily produces flat steel products, semi-finished steel products and electrical steels. NLMK also produces specialty coated steels, plus high-ductility and micro-alloyed steels. It's the 21st-largest steel maker in the world. The larger NLMK group owns a number of other steel and mining industries, mostly in Russia.
The effect of tensile stresses applied at magnetic fields H = 100–800 A/m on the magnetic properties of anisotropic electrical steels T130-27S and N27P-100 (PAO NLMK), B27P100 (BAO Steel), and H100-27 (Thyssen Krupp) has been studied. The application of external tensile stresses along the easy magnetization direction at magnetic fields H = 800 A/m and a maximum measurement induction of 1.7 T is shown to increase the magnetic induction up to 1.95 T and to decrease the specific magnetic losses by 19–26
This study presents a comparative investigation of two inductive circuit configurations employing planar coils for magnetic particle detection. The sensor element was a flat PCB coil, which proved to be effective while maintaining a compact design. The first circuit, based on a Colpitts oscillator, has relatively low sensitivity, however, offers the possibility of digital detection through frequency variation. In contrast, the second configuration, a modified Maxwell bridge composed of resonant second-order differential filters, exhibited significantly higher sensitivity and a linear response for small inductance variations. Experimental validation with magnetic samples of varying magnetic iron content confirmed that both circuits are capable of correlating voltage variations with the content iron.
According to 2025 data, world exports of metallurgical coal amounted to 325 million t. Australia was the largest exporter, although its share of the total was no more than 45
A procedure for layer-by-layer analysis of zinc coatings on rolled steel products has been developed to determine the concentrations of regulated alloying elements within the following ranges: Mg 0.03–5.04
The article is devoted to the issues of modeling strip thickness during cold rolling on a continuous four-stand mill 1400 of the non-grain oriented steel shop of PJSC “NLMK” in non-stationary stages of the process (threading-acceleration, deceleration-exit) by the finite element method in the QForm software module. The results of a comparative analysis of rolling parameters calculated in the QForm software module and using regression models are presented.
