Raipur Institute of Technology is a Private Engineering college located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established by the Mahanadi Education Society in 1995. It is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University.
Environmental noise pollution has become a significant concern in rapidly urbanizing cities due to increasing traffic, industrialization, and population growth. The present study aims to assess ambient noise levels in different zones of Raipur, India, including commercial, residential, industrial, and silence zones. Noise measurements were conducted at 25 selected locations during daytime and nighttime using a calibrated sound level meter. The equivalent continuous noise level (Leq) was computed to evaluate the overall noise exposure, and the results were compared with standards prescribed by the Central Pollution Control Board. The findings reveal that industrial zones recorded the highest noise levels (Leq ≈ 85 dB), followed by commercial zones (≈ 80 dB), while residential and silence zones also exceeded permissible limits.
The burgeoning demand for sustainable and renewable energy solutions has accelerated advancements in Nanogenerators (NGs) based on polymers. These innovative devices harness piezoelectric, triboelectric, and pyroelectric effects for energy harvesting, offering transformative solutions in wearable electronics, biomedical applications, and the Internet of Things (IoT). With their unique ability to convert mechanical and thermal energies into electrical power, polymer-based nanogenerators exemplify the synergy between nanotechnology and material science. This review delves into the evolution of these devices over the last two decades, highlighting key advancements in materials, fabrication techniques, and application domains. Additionally, challenges such as scalability, energy conversion efficiency, and environmental impact are discussed alongside strategies for addressing these limitations. By emphasizing the sustainable potential of polymer-based nanogenerators, this work aims to provide insights into their role in the future of energy technology and their application in diverse fields, from healthcare to smart cities.
Chronic exposure to arsenic has been recognized as a risk factor for Urothelial cancer of the bladder (UCB) and other carcinogenic conditions. Scientific studies have demonstrated a strong correlation between these two conditions, highlighting the significance of minimizing arsenic overexposure to reduce health risks. This study aims to employ microarray analysis to identify hub genes and explore the molecular pathways associated with long-term exposure to inorganic arsenic. The GEO2R tool is employed to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. A total of 268 up-regulated genes and 173 down-regulated DEGs are identified. These DEGs are enriched in various pathways, including Focal adhesion, cellular senescence, ECM-receptor interaction, and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. Through a combination of MCODE and CytoHubba analyses, fifteen hub genes are selected based on their high degrees in the network. IRF7, MX1, and OAS1 are identified as the top three ranked candidate genes among these hub genes. These hub genes primarily involve the Interferon alpha/beta signaling and Cytokine Signaling in the Immune system pathways. The genes identified in this study offer preliminary insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying carcinogenesis. They represent candidate markers for future validation in independent cohorts and potential treatment targets for UCB.
The present research intends to identify the various factors which influences consumers intentions towards the adoption of e-wallets. “(TAM) & (UTAUT) are utilised to propose a model. Sample size for this study was 370 which were further analyses using SPSS to extract the factors and test hypothesized model. “The findings of this study shows that perceived usefulness, “perceived ease of use, perceived trust, social influence, facilitating conditions have a significant impact on the consumer behavioural intention to use “e-wallets”. Further this study shows that social influence is the strongest and perceived trust is the weakest predictor of consumers intentions to adopt e-wallets. The research findings can assist governments in creating policies to encourage and spread citizen's participations in e-wallet use. This study examines data at a certain moment” (cross-sectional data). Additionally, it is possible to investigate the inclusion of additional antecedents that have not been covered here, such as comparative advantage, perceived awareness, and experiential stimulation.
