Sustainable tourism villages face complex governance challenges because they must simultaneously support economic development, protect local culture, preserve ecological resources, and respond to changing social conditions. Existing studies have examined sustainable tourism governance mainly from administrative, community-based, or institutional perspectives, but less attention has been given to how distributed authority interacts with nonlinear adaptive dynamics in village-level governance systems. To address this gap, this study develops an integrated framework that combines polycentric governance theory and chaos theory. Using a quantitative explanatory design, survey data were collected from 590 stakeholders involved in tourism village governance across four regencies and one city in Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that institutional diversity has the strongest association with sustainable tourism village governance, followed by decentralization and local autonomy, bifurcation and cosmology, community participation, flexibility and adaptability, edge of chaos and the butterfly effect, and self-organization and strange attractors. The model yields a very high coefficient of determination, which suggests a close within sample fit between the proposed constructs and the observed perception data. This result is interpreted cautiously because the study is cross-sectional and several constructs are conceptually proximate. The study contributes to governance theory by showing that sustainable tourism village governance can be understood as both polycentric and complex-adaptive. Practically, the findings suggest that policymakers and tourism village managers should strengthen multi-actor coordination while maintaining flexibility to respond to uncertainty and local change.
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of brand image, customer satisfaction, and product quality on customer loyalty on the Lazada e-commerce platform in Batam City. The research approach applied is a quantitative method with a descriptive nature, designed to identify and measure the causal relationship between research variables objectively and in a structured manner. The population in this study were Lazada users who reside in Batam City and have experience making repeat purchases. The sample determination was carried out using a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria, resulting in 100 respondents who were deemed to meet the research analysis needs. The process of collecting and processing data was carried out through a series of statistical tests, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing to determine the magnitude of the influence of each independent variable on customer loyalty. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis showed that brand image has a 19.8% influence on customer loyalty, followed by customer satisfaction which contributes 29.9%, and product quality which also plays a role 36.9% in shaping Lazada customer loyalty. Simultaneously, these three variables explained 80.0% of the variation in customer loyalty, as indicated by the coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the t-test and F-test findings, it can be concluded that brand image, customer satisfaction, and product quality, both partially and jointly, significantly influence Lazada customer loyalty in Batam City.

This study aims to analyze the effect of tax understanding and tax socialization on the tax compliance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as the role of accounting knowledge in moderating the relationship between these variables. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach and a cross-sectional research design. The data used are primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to MSME actors who are registered as taxpayers and operate in Batam Kota District. The sampling method used is purposive sampling with criteria that the MSMEs are actively operating and registered as taxpayers. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to examine the role of the moderating variable. All data were processed using SPSS software to ensure valid and reliable research results. The population of this study consists of all MSME actors registered as taxpayers in Batam Kota District, with a sample of 91 respondents who met the research criteria. The results indicate that tax understanding and tax socialization have an effect on MSME tax compliance, as evidenced by a t-test value of 56.331 > 3.099 and a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. In addition, accounting knowledge is proven to be able to moderate the effect of tax understanding and tax socialization on MSME tax compliance, as indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.026 and a significance level of 0.005 < 0.05. The implications of this study are expected to provide practical contributions for MSME actors in improving tax compliance through enhancing tax understanding and accounting knowledge. For the government, particularly tax authorities, the findings of this study may serve as a reference in designing more effective tax socialization strategies. Theoretically, this study is expected to enrich the literature related to MSME tax compliance in Indonesia.
