Objective of the study: To evaluate the effect of Mirror therapy on upper extremity motor functions in stroke patients Methodology: 22 subjects were selected who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The purpose and procedure of the study were explained to all subjects for maximum cooperation and written consent was taken from them. Detailed assessment was taken for each patient. Inclusion criteria: Age 40-60 years, Brunnstrom stage of motor recovery for upper extremity 1-3, Time since stroke 2 months 1 year, Gender Both male and female Exclusion criteria: Severe cognitive disorders that would interfere with study purpose (MMSE<23/30), bilateral hemiplegia, medically unstable patients, Patients with visual impairments. Outcome measure: Action research arm test: (ARAT), Upper extremity subscale of Fugl-Meyer motor assessment scale: (FGMR) Conclusion: Study concluded that Mirror therapy is proved to improve upper extremity motor functions in stroke patients.
