This research was based on the technology acceptance model (TAM), the information systems success model (ISSM) and incorporated trust into the theoretical research model. The study focuses on addressing how the factors of application quality, information quality and service quality affect ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust. And in turn, how these last three incidents in the use of mobile banking by users in the Monterrey Metropolitan Area (MMA), Mexico. A quantitative study was carried out and the structural equation modeling (SEM) technique based on components/variances was applied. Of the variables addressed, it was found that the three quality factors affect the perceived usefulness, which in turn is an important driver of the use of mobile banking. By addressing the factors that are relevant to the user, a more attractive mobile banking can be created, attracting a greater number of users, leaving traditional banking behind and thus increasing the competitiveness of financial institutions.attractive mobile banking system, attracting a higher number of users, leaving traditional banking behind and thus increasing the competitiveness of financial institutions.
This study examined the influence of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and the mediating role of organisational commitment in this relationship. Data were collected via a cross-sectional survey, yielding 400 usable responses from police personnel in Kuala Lumpur police organisations in Malaysia. The measurement and structural models were assessed using SmartPLS. The findings of the structural equation modelling revealed that organisational commitment plays a critical mediating role in the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction. These results offer valuable insights for practitioners to understand the multidimensional perspectives of organisational commitment and to formulate social skills development programmes that support the achievement of organisational strategies, missions, and goals.
The management control system (MCS) is an integrated framework for controlling complex organizational processes, forming distinct control configurations. MCS configuration plays a crucial role in supporting business processes and improving company performance. However, studies on this subject remain limited. This research aims to examine the impact of different MCS configurations on the business processes and performance of startups in Indonesia. Using Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis and a sample of 209 startup companies across 16 regions in Indonesia, we find that MCS configuration has a positive influence on both business processes and company performance. Based on cluster analysis, we identify several optimal control configurations that support high organizational performance, highlighting the relationship between MCS configuration and company performance through business processes.
The objective of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of ESG on earnings management in explaining the stock prices (value relevance) of companies from Latin American countries. The study yet compares this moderation before, during, and after the pandemic. The panel data was analyzed using the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) and Panel Corrected Standard Errors (PCSE) model. The final sample consisted of 2,078 observations from 291 companies from 2010 to 2023. The Ohlson (1995) model was employed to measure the value relevance, while the Kothari et al. (2005) model measured discretionary accruals. The findings of the study indicate: i) ESG and share price were positively and significantly related before the pandemic, and negatively and significantly after the pandemic; ii) discretionary accruals and share price were positively and significantly related, except after the pandemic, and iii) interaction between ESG and earnings management reveals a positive moderating relationship with value relevance in the post-pandemic period. This study contributes to investors by providing insights into how ESG moderates earnings management in stock price pricing, helping to identify more transparent and sustainable companies. It provides managers promote viewpoint on how ESG affects the production of financial value and promotes actions consistent with responsible governance. For society, it highlights the role of ESG in building more trustworthy and resilient markets. Understanding how crises impact the applicability of these techniques is made easier by the comparative analysis conducted before, during, and following the pandemic. Thus, the study reinforces the importance of ESG in promoting trust and economic stability.

The findings show that the Indonesian stock market has a positive influence on the United States S&P 500 stock market, Shanghai Composite, Jakarta Stock Exchange, Thailand SET, FTSE Straits Times Singapore, Philippine Stock Exchange, and Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, and Vietnam Securities Exchange.
This study investigates whether various components of working capital policy impact profitability. Furthermore, this study considers whether the COVID-19 outbreak can intervene in this relationship. Using a sample of 126 listed manufacturing companies in Indonesia from 2017 to 2020, we employ a comparison of two general equations (before and during the COVID-19 outbreak) of a linear model involving several working capital policies on profitability. The study shows an anomaly that occurred during COVID-19. Companies tended to carry out aggressive working capital behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to before COVID-19. The reason behind this is that the company gets incentives to defer debt payments or get additional debt facilities which are used to increase receivables and inventory. This study also shows that there is a negative influence of the financial flow cycle on profitability, both before and during the COVID-19 period. Empirical findings indicating inconsistencies in working capital behavior prove that the practice of working capital implemented by manufacturing companies in Indonesia is currently not offended to be more.

This research paper empirically investigates the impact of the Global financial cycle on the financial variables of Indian economy. Global Financial Cycle (GFCy) is related to the occurrence of simultaneous movements of capital flows, asset prices and credit growth. This cycle is driven by the monetary policy decisions of the Federal Reserve and the implications of the same has been examined in the existing literature in various forms. The present study empirically investigates the impact of the global financial cycle on the credit growth and asset prices of an Indian economy from 2010-to 2023. To achieve the study objective, the study applies advanced time-series econometrics methods such as the VAR approach, Granger Causality Test, and the IRF test (Impulse Response Function). The results show that, the global financial cycle has substantial impacts on the stock market and IRF, and granger causality results confirm it.
This study examines the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR), financial performance, environmental performance, dividend policy, and firm size on investor confidence and firm value. The research uses an explanatory approach to clarify the relationships between these independent and dependent variables through rigorous hypothesis testing. The study focuses on all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2021, with a purposive sampling method selecting 20 companies for analysis. Data collection includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and path analysis. The results show that CSR, financial performance, and firm size significantly influence investor confidence, while environmental performance and dividend policy do not. Financial performance affects firm value, but CSR, environmental performance, dividend policy, firm size, and investor confidence do not significantly impact firm value. This research contributes new insights to academic and practical fields, highlighting that signals companies send through financial performance, CSR, and firm size can influence investor trust. However, financial factors have a greater impact on firm value than non-financial factors like CSR or environmental performance. Future research could explore factors such as organizational culture or industry differences that may explain why environmental performance and dividend policy do not significantly affect investor confidence or firm value, as well as the varying impact of CSR across different sectors.
While the significance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its role in businesses are widely acknowledged, the intricacies surrounding the catalysts compelling organizations to undertake the mantle of CSR remain less clear. Despite researchers' endeavors to comprehend the determinants of CSR, certain aspects remain obscured. This paper studies the factors influencing the level of CSR performance through the application of a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) framework. To achieve this, a dataset encompassing 39 indicators across 1033 listed companies located in 32 countries was employed, spanning from 2005 to 2016 and seven latent variables were considered. The findings underscore that "country exposure," "corporate governance," and "company profile" positively impact CSR performance. Conversely, "ownership structure" exhibits a negative influence on CSR performance. Consequently, this study furnishes both practical and theoretical implications concerning the intricate interplay between CSR and a gamut of macro and micro-level business variables.
