Several medications have been found to be associated with causation of diabetes. Various pharmacological medications which are commonly used in clinical practice are found to affect glucose homeostasis and interfere with the balance between various hormones like insulin, glucagon, catecholamines, growth hormone, and cortisol. Mechanism for the diabetes caused due to medications is associated with a reduction in insulin production, some with reduction in insulin sensitivity, and some appear to be associated with reduction in insulin production along with the insulin sensitivity. It is very difficult to establish a precise cause and effect relationship between a medication and development of diabetes. Various clinical studies of medications typically concentrate on evaluation of effectiveness and are not powered to evaluate side effects. Several covariant such as the weight gain associated with medication such as steroids or antipsychotics also make it difficult to find that whether the development of diabetes was a primary or secondary effect of the medication. Mechanisms for the causations of diabetes have been linked with range from decreased insulin secretion to decreased insulin action to direct neural effects. Stopping or switching medication is considered as the first step in treating the drug induced diabetes. While the information to support many of the consensus recommendations for treatment drug -induced diabetes is lacking. Objective An attempt was made to develop a simple, isocratic and robust reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method for Pitolisant. Material and methods An Inertsil octa decyl silane column and photo diode array detector were employed for the quantification of Pitolisant at 268 nm using a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and 0.1 % v/v formic acid (90:10 % v/v) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. for the efficient elution of Pitolisant. Results The developed method was validated for various parameters and the linearity range was observed at 25-150 µg/mL. The correlation coefficient, limit of detection and limit of quantification calculated from the calibration curve were 0.9998, 0.3 µg/mL and 1.0 µg/mL respectively. The mean percentage recovery was 99.9 %. The formulation was subjected to stress at various conditions resulting in minor degradants at different retention times. Conclusion An isocratic, fast, robust reverse phase – high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed which can be exploited for the estimation of Pitolisant in bulk and tablets. Face identification is an essential application in recent times as it has several applications like surveillance, criminal identification, etc. Many face recognition methods are still facing various challenges by researchers in real-time applications because of multiple rotational angles of faces and different expressions. To overcome this issue, we come up with the novel approach of Global Generative Adversarial Networks (G-GAN) to convert various expressions and side images into frontal images and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to recognize the face in quick time with low cost, high accuracy and with use of less memory. The unique error loss algorithm is introduced in G-GAN during training which preserves identical features of profile images and photo-realistic good resolution front image. The single ground truth frontal image of an individual and G-GAN converted frontal pictures of individuals are considered, and PCA is applied to obtain features. The features are compared using Euclidean Distance (ED) to recognize an individual. The module used publicly available datasets like Indian male and female, ORL, and Multi PIE and achieved good results with a high recognition rate. A new method was established for estimation of Tizanidine and Ibuprofen by RP-HPLC method. The chromatographic conditions were successfully developed for the separation of Tizanidine and Ibuprofen by using Intersil ODS C18 column (250×4.6mm) 5.0µm, flow rate was 1.0ml/min, mobile phase ratio was (40:60 v/v) Potassium di hydrogen Phosphate Buffer: Acetonitrile pH 3.2 (pH was adjusted with Ortho-phosphoric acid), detection wavelength was 269 nm. The instrument used was Shimadzu HPLC, UV detector 2450, Spinchrom -software version-2. The method shows linearity between the concentration range of 0.6-1.4µg / ml for Tizanidine and 120-280 for Ibuprofen. Long-term wastewater irrigation or solid waste disposal has resulted in heavy metal contamination in both soil and groundwater, due to the industrial activity nearby Buddha Nullah Area. The remediation of heavy metals merits consideration; however, it is impeded by the expense of these processes. The primary target of this review was to exhibit the theory of concurrent remediation of both heavy metals defiled soil and groundwater by coordinating the compound immobilization strategies. In this study, byproducts such as red mud, biochar and fly ash were used as binders, for the immobilization of heavy metals in combination with sodium silicate solution to produce a geopolymer-based material that can be utilized as building materials. The utilization of biochar for the remediation of debased soils might give another solution to the problem for the soil contamination issue. This study concentrated on the leachability of heavy metals in the unrefined components and the geopolymer as this would be critical in surveying the natural effect of the item. The leachability of heavy metals such as Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, Fe, and Cr was evaluated based on Indian standards with pH values at 7. The results showed that raw materials (biochar, red mud and fly ash) have higher leachability than geopolymer specimens; also the values of leaching tests for heavy metals in the geopolymer-based materials. Owing to the hazardous contribution towards environment from mineral oil-based lubricants, bio-degradable lubricants extracted from vegetable oils seems to be a promising candidate considering climate change, energy security and green environmental approach. In this research work, chemically modified helianthus annuus is considered as a viable option due to its excellent tribological properties and considerable polyunsaturated fatty acid. To further enhance the tribological properties, copper oxide nanoparticles were added to the base oil in varying proportions of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5% by weight fractions. The application of nano enhanced biolubricants on worm and gearbox is studied. The addition of copper oxide nanoparticles enhances dispersion stability of the biolubricant. Tribological characterization was conducted using pin-on disc machine. Tribological properties such as coefficient of friction and wear rate along with kinematic viscosity is analysed for each composition. The obtained results are compared with synthetic oil SAE 75. It is observed that with the inclusion of copper oxide nanoparticles to the biolubricant, there is a notable decrease in wear rate along with lower friction coefficient. IUFD is an important indicator of maternal and perinatal Health in a given population. Fetal death from Intra partum asphyxia and Rh is immunization has almost disappeared. Toxaemia and GDM contribute significantly to fetal deaths. There is a significant decline in still birth from unexplained causes. Most frequent reported causes of fetal death earlier were prolapsed of cord, abruptioplacenta, Hydrocephalus and rupture uterus. If the causes of IUFD can be found, an effective strategy for prevention of IUFD can be materialised and complications can be prevented. Methods: Retrospective study in Tertiary Care Hospital. Results: 35 out of 38 of the patients are belong to the age group of 20-30 years. With history of reduced fetal moments, background of pre ecclampsia and anaemia contribute significantly to fetal deaths. Conclusions: to seek treating physicians with history of reduced fetal moments and aggressive treatment of PIH and anaemia can reduce the burden of IUD in this tribal belt. Illiteracy is a big burden to train and educate women to seek good antenatal care and advice. Insects are a problem in stored grains throughout the world. In India, there are about 200 species of pest insects which cause damage to stored grains and grain products in storage. The stored chickpea seeds are affected by bruchids. The pulse beetle Callosobruchus chinensis is the most widespread and destructive insect pest of economically important leguminous chickpea. The pest control of C. chinensis is very important to protect the loss of nutritive and economic value of chickpea. The present study aimed to protect the stored chickpea seeds from C. chinensis infestation using leaf powders of Justicia adhatoda L. and Leucas aspera by analyzing the effect of these two leaf powders on the mortality rate. Through this study, it has been found that J. adhatoda showed more efficacy against C. chinensis and it can be considered as a safer alternative for synthetic chemical insecticides. The study was to investigate the phytochemicals, physico chemical parameters, FTIR spectrum, seed germination percentage and vigour index for their safety and efficacy. The use of natural medicinal plants like J. adhatoda and L. aspera develop a cheap, safe and easy method for the protection of stored grains against the insect pest C. chinensis. Because both sides of the cell, front and back, can absorb solar radiation, bifacial solar cells may provide a higher energy output than monofacial solar cells. Improved cell efficiency, module reliability, and deployment design of bifacial arrays in a PV plant should continue to be emphasized in bifacial PV efforts to cooptimize front-to-backside energy output for fixed and tracking systems throughout the day. The efficient thermal flow for front, rear, and combination irradiance was determined using these spectra. Single-cell laminates exposed to indoor irradiance had their power output, bifacial gain, and module operating temperature measured. Aluminium foil is a common component of laminates and is widely used in food packaging. It has a higher barrier function against the migration of moisture, oxygen and other gases, volatile fragrance, and light than any plastic laminate material. Recently, plastic-derived products have become a vital commodity for various purposes. It has three reflecting materials for comparison of reflectivity; first the typical surface readings, then the different reflective materials at various irradiance levels. A white paint reflector, plastic film, and aluminium foil sheet components are used. The aluminium foil sheet material has a high power density of 1000W/m2 in Standard Test Conditions. Aluminium foil sheet is a highly reflective material with a maximum voltage of 38 V and a maximum current of 12.3A. This enhances the power of the reflective material 466W. The regular surface increases the power by 1.166%, whereas the aluminium foil layer increases the maximum power by 1.3%. HER2 positive breast cancer is most common malignancy in women globally. Aberrant behavior of HER2 kinase protein is a hallmark of tumorigenesis, and as a result it has been considered as an emerging potential drug target for breast cancer therapy. In the present investigation a series of N-substituted rhodanine derivatives (33 compounds) were subjected to 2D-QSAR studies with the aid of genetic algorithm (GA) method to identify the essential structural features that responsible for cytotoxic activity. Based on the results, the cytotoxic activity of N-substituted rhodanine derivatives can be successfully explained in terms of twodimensional (ATSC7v), and three-dimensional (geomRadius and RDF45i) descriptors. The obtained model was vigorously validated and passed all validation metrics (R2train = 0.913, R2adj = 0.899, Q2LOO = 0.870, R2test = 0.848). Importantly, the model quality was good based on mean absolute error (MAE) criteria and the results were consistent with proposed limits by Golbraikh and Tropsha. Molecular docking study of the active compounds (ligands 4, 16, and 27) revealed the formation of hydrogen and hydrophobic interactions within the active site of HER2 protein. A spatial technique is essential for proper utilization and soil preservation management often requires estimates of soil loss at a provincial scale. With the advent of powerful and high-speed personal computers, efficient techniques for soil loss estimation have evolved, of which geoinformatics technology are of great significance. A geospatial analysis was carried out to know the soil loss calculations in the Krishna River in part of Raichur district, Karnataka. An analytical representation such as Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) and its following Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) are useful tools to produce the quantitative calculate about the essential for controlling management approach. Spatial data layers including, rainfall erosivity (R), soil erodability (K), slope length and steepness (LS), cover management (C) and conservation practice (P) factors were computed to estimate the average annual soil loss of the study area. The average estimated soil loss rate for the study area was found as 18.61 t.ha-1.yr-1. Further, the estimation of soil erosion rate was classified into four severity classes are namely as slight, moderate, severe and extremely severe. About, 70% (5870.20 km2) and 14.33% (1201.71 km2) of the study area falls under slight and moderate respectively potential soil loss in the study area. Approximately 983.68 km2 area accounting for 11.73% of the study area falls under severe and extremely severe potential soil loss region cover an area of 330.41 km2 accounting for 3.94% of the total study area. The based on outcome of the results, finally it is concluded that the spatial technology are very efficient and useful for the soil loss estimation. This present study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity and antioxidant activity of Hemigraphis colorata by well diffusion method and DPPH scavenging assay. The ethanol leaf extract is tested for antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis by comparing with Chloramphenicol and the free radical scavenging activity also observed for different concentration by taking Ascorbic acid as a standard.
