A waveguide occupies a domain G with several cylindrical ends. The waveguide is described by a nonstationary equation of the form it f = Af ,where A is a selfadjoint second order elliptic operator with variable coefficients (in particular, for A = -, where stands for the Laplace operator, the equation coincides with the Schrodinger equation). For the corresponding stationary problem with spectral parameter, we define continuous spectrum eigenfunctions and a scattering matrix. The limiting absorption principle provides expansion in the continuous spectrum eigenfunctions. We also calculate wave operators and prove their completeness. Then we define a scattering operator and describe its connections with the scattering matrix.
Olivine (high-Fe forsterite; Fo# 69-76) and associated minerals have been studied in a coesite-bearing diamon-diferous eclogite from the Udachnaya-East kimberlite pipe. Olivine was identified in the rock interstices together with K‑feldspar, sodalite, phlogopite and djerfisherite. The composition of individual olivine grains varies within the xenolith and is characterized by a consistent presence of P2O5, MnO, CaO и Al2O3. The coexistence of olivine and coesite is uncommon for mantle xenoliths. The occurrence of olivine and K, Na, Сl-bearing minerals in the studied sample is suggested to have been caused by the interaction of the eclogite with a protokimberlitic melt enriched in alkali components and chlorine.
We consider the problem of obtaining the restrictions on the zero set of an entire function of exponential type under which this function belongs to the Schwartz algebra and invertible in the sense of Ehrenpreis.
In article the possibility of detection of the deep polarized objects in natural electromagnetic fields is experimentally proved on the basis of synchronous measurements of a vertical component of long-period variations of magnetic field of Earth. Interpretation of data of the induced polarization is executed by method of analytical continuation of geophysical fields down (towards sources). Experimental works are completed near Lekhta (Karelia) in 2017.
Baltic oil shales — kukersites were studied as an example of rocks with rock-forming organic matter (OM). The volumetric significance of their OM is shown (due to the low density) in the volume and thickness of the shale layers. A higher OM content is responsible for a lower strength of the shales relative to the carbonate rocks of the deposit. The variable OM contents and other heterogeneities of the shale layers (structure, nodules, etc.) are factors of the mosaic distribution of areas with different density–strength properties and, as a result, of uneven reduction of layers and their deformation in the case of OM loss (full or partial). It is concluded that the intercalation of kukersite and limestone layers leads to density and strength anisotropy of the shale deposit. Episodic loss of OM and carbonates by the shales is considered for the local areas of the deposit: here, kukersites contain only a terrigenous component with clasts of limestones, shales, and epigenetic sulfides. The loss of OM is explained by sulfate-reduction processes in the underground hydrosphere.
According to the results of geophysical data interpretation considered the structural features of the Khatanga-Lomonosov fracture zones (HLZ), adapted to the strip joint part on the Laptev Sea continental margin with the structures of the spreading of the Eurasian basin and the Lomonosov ridge. Its reflection in anomalous geophysical fields, in a wave seismic picture on sections is shown on the example of separate links of HLZ and the character of its kinematic interrelations with heterogeneous tectonic elements is illustrated. The tectonic nature, role and place of this fault zone in the geodynamic evolution of the region are substantiated.
Cationic copolymerization of cholesterol vinyl ether with N-allenylpyrrolidone yielded co-oligomers with molecular mass of 1200-2100. The polymerization of N-allenylpyrrolidone involves both 1,2- and 2,3-positions of the allenyl substituent to give four types of units as a result of prototropic isomerization of the initially formed structures. In the developed method, the composition of co-oligomers can be controlled and, hence, their hydrophilic/hydrophobic balance, solubility, and membranotropic properties can also be controlled to change the potential biological activity of the products.
New materials based on calcium sulphate with the replacement of calcium cations to magnesium cations – 10, 20 and 40 mol.% were obtained. The synthesis of substituted forms of calcium sulphate, the study of the phase composition, and the strength of the obtained materials were carried out in the work. It is shown that the solubility of the synthesized materials increases with increasing of the degree of substitution. The obtained materials are acceptable for the preparation of composite biomaterials on their basis for the regeneration of bone tissue and carriers of drugs.
Results of the study of Sr–Nd–Pb–Hf isotopic composition of Late Paleozoic granitoids of Central Chukotka are represented on the example of Kibera and Kuekvun plutons. The age of granitoids of these plutons and granites from pebbles in conglomerates in the base of overlying Lower Carboniferous deposits is 351–363 Ma (U–Pb zircon, TIMS, SIMS, LA–ICP–MS). Thus, granitoid magmatism corresponds in time to tectonic events of Elsmerian orogeny in Arctic region. Sr–Nd–Pb–Hf isotopic composition of granitoids indicate participation of mantle and crustal components in the source of granite melts. Granitoids formation probably occurred in geodynamic setting of Andean type continental margin during the interaction between mantle melts, forming at the mantle wedge melting in suprasubduction conditions, and continental crust.
The CePO4 – SiO2 – NaF – Fe2O3–Nb2O5 system is characterized by a wide area of two immiscible melts. As the temperature in the system increases, the region of incompressibility of melts increases. Mutual solubility of immiscible melts is low and is 3–5% by weight. The decrease in the melting point of the components is due to chemical reactions between SiO2 and NaF and between cerium orthophosphate and sodium fluoride. New previously unknown phases were established in the system: double salt of cerium and sodium, fluoride phosphate of cerium and sodium and phase with high content of niobium. Niobium oxide is distributed between the silicate melt, silicate balls, which is part of the phosphate fluoride melt and a phase with a high content of niobium. Cerium is concentrated in the phosphate-salt melt, where it is found in the double salt of cerium and sodium and the fluoride phosphate of cerium and sodium.
The article considers the geography of emerging and re-emerging natural focal diseases in Russia. The data on the distribution and peculiarities of epidemic manifestations of eight key infections (ixodid tick-borne borrelioses, tick-borne encephalitis, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, tularemia, leptospirosis, West Nile fever, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever and Astrakhan rickettsiosis fever) belonging to different groups of emerging and re-emerging diseases are presented. We estimated and mapped the risk of exposure to these infections in the European territory of Russia within natural borders (biomes).
The paper presents the results of empirical verification of the theoretical law, validated in a mathematical model of the morphological structure of thermokarst plains with fluvial erosion - the exponential distribution of the areas of khasyreis. The empirical testing based on the remote sensing data of high resolution involved 18 key sites at different regions of the cryolithozone in different natural environments. Eighty percent of the testing samples confirmed this theoretical statement. This result validates the suggested model and provides for the conclusion about the khasyrei radii corresponding to the Rayleigh distribution in different natural environments.
A morphological and immunohistochemical study of 24 gums biopsies was conducted in 19 patients aged 35-60 years with a diagnosis of partial secondary edentulous, chronic generalized periodontitis of moderate and severe degree (14 patients), and also without pathological changes in the periodontal disease (5 patients), who underwent dental implantation. Immunohistochemical reactions with antibodies to Ki-67, VEGF, SMA were performed on serial paraffin sections. It has been established that chronic periodontitis is characterized by a higher proliferative activity of the epithelium, which reflects its hyperplastic changes, as well as a lower content of SMA positive cells and the practical absence of the formation of privascular couplings from SMA-positive cells that are associated in tissues with growth zones, which indirectly indicates reduced tissue regenerative capacity. Therefore, in the case of the operation of dental implantation requires additional treatment aimed at anti-inflammatory and pro-regenerative effects.
This report shows the possibilities of solving the Gardner problem of determining the lock-in range for multidimensional phase-locked loops systems. The development of analogs of classical stability criteria for the cylindrical phase space made it possible to obtain analytical estimates of the lock-in range for third-order system.
A methodology was proposed to develop an original computer-aided multiagent model of chemicophysiological processes in the human gastrointestinal tract (GIT) as a complex living biochemical system (LBCS), which simulates chemicophysiological processes of interaction of biologically active parts and organs of GIT in models of intelligent organoid agents. The model vividly represents chemicophysiological processes of the complex LBCS as a whole and also predicts its viability and homeostasis in cases of various physiological and biochemical external actions, internal abnormalities, and malfunctioning of GIT organs.
In the paper one studies the system of equations of the boundary layer of nonlinearly viscous fluid with the O. A. Ladyzhenskaya law. Previously, these equations were considered, the Mises transform allows to reduce the system of equations to a single quasilinear equation. In this work, we use the Crocco variables, which transform the system of equations of the boundary layer into a quasilinear degenerate parabolic equation. In contrast to the Mises variables, the Crocco transformation allows one to study both stationary and non-stationary equations; moreover, it makes it possible to obtain asymptotic estimates for the solution on the boundary of the domain.
We consider a polynomial ODE of the order n in a neighbourhood of zero or of infinity of the independent variable. A method of calculation of its solutions in the form of power series and an exponential addition, which contains one more power series, was described. The exponential addition has an arbitrary constant, exists in some set E1 of sectors of the complex plane and can be found from a solution to an ODE of the order n - 1. An hierarchic sequence of such exponential additions is possible, that each of these exponential additions is defined from an ODE of a lower order n - i and exists in its own set Ei. Here we must check the non-emptiness of intersection of the sets E1 Ç ... Ç Ei. Each exponential addition continues into its own exponential expansion, containing countable set of power series. As a result we obtain an expansion of a solution into a transseries, containing countable set of power series, all of which are summable. The transseries describes families of solutions to the initial ODE in some set of sectors of the complex plane.
The results of Pechenga ore-bearing Paleoproterozoic structure, located on the northern-western part of Kola region, research, are presented in this article. Secondary ions mass-spectrometry (SIMS) was used for U-Th-Pb-zircon age definition, on SRHIMP-II device and mass spectrometry with inductively associated plasm with LA-ICPMS ablation on ThermoQuest Finnigan MAT Neptune device. Televi Formation basalt conglomerates, Luchlompo Formation red colored gravelites and middle part Matert Formation high siliceous turbidites were tested. On U-Pb diagram with Concordia part of analytical points for zircon from conglomerates are approximated by Discordia with the top intersection 2792 7 Ma. All gravelite zircon grains are located on Concordia. The main part of their age values is within interval 2700-2820, the lesser - 2840-3000 Ma (with the maximums 2718, 2779, 2854, 2972). The single grains have the age from 3037 4 up to 3698 8 Ma. Concordant value 207Pb/206Pb age 2640 16 Ma is fixed for turbidite zircon. The sources of zircon for conglomerates and gravelites were the rocks of Northern zone Pechenga structure basement: gneisses of Kirkenes, Varanger and Svanvik Complexes (2715, 2803 and 2825 Ma) and high aluminous gneisses (2798-2830 Ma), for turbidites - Southern slope granitoides. The dominating role of zircon group with 2. 7 billion years proves a global growth of continental crust in this period. Ancient values of zircon age (3.0-3.7 billion years) of red colored gravelites are connected with the deeper erosion of the basement and outcrop of Eoarchaean and Mezoarchaean age rocks on erosive surface in Northern zone within the period of the first global Oxygen revolution (2.4-2.3 billion years).
