We took a survey on attempts at improving the scientific language before the advent of terminology. Any one science cannot be generated overnight, it is always a process of deliberation and preparation. Back in the Middle Ages, before the invention of terminology, the Italian language in the improvement of scientific terms to make a lot of effort and contribution. Especially in the dictionary compilation and classification of dictionary learning has made great achievements. Finally in the nineteenth century ushered in the Italian dictionary to learn the great development of science and technology terminology and terminology came into being. However, in science and technology into practical terms dictionary and a dictionary of technical terms defined in the process of entry of how many there are still controversial. No development without controversy, as the term research continues to progress, any problems will be a good solution.
This paper carries out research and analysis of the terms in the perspective of functionalism. The relationships between Terminology and Linguistics are close, by the impact of linguistics, terminology is beginning to turn from prescriptive to descriptive research, and this turn makes many terminologists study the terms from the functional point of view, and they have new understanding of it -- understanding of the term＇ s nature, unlike the past： term＇ s dynamism, variability and textual nature
Basic terminological standard is one of the most important elements in normative management and technology of comprehensive utilization. The author analyzes the implication and extension of the term ＂comprehensive utilization of mineral resources＂, and cleares the main elements of basic terminological standard for comprehensive utilization of mineral resources and the relationship between them; According to the concerned fields with comprehensive utilization of mineral resources and results in front of the paper, researcher builds the concept system of the basic terminological standard.

In Chinese vision ISO 9001 used word customer satisfaction to express meaning the degree of customers satisfaction.But this is not good expression in China since it is not suit custom of Chinese language.To find hetter expression in Chinese,this paper analysizes causes,that is difference between Chinese words and English words.And sagest that to use words which suit Chinese customs.
According to the modern cognitive science,metaphor is an important way for human being's cognitive thought,and experience is the cognitive foundation for metaphoric thought.The visual experience is the cognitive foundation for the color metaphors in economic terms.Taking Dictionary of Modem Economics as linguistic source,through the cognitive analysis of the color metaphors in economic terms,it is found that the color metaphors mainly cover six colors,such as white color,red color,black color,grey color,blue color and green color.Certain cognitive rules can be found through the analysis combined with the definitions of these terms.
There is an unprecedented opportunity for electrical engineering development in China. The paper aims at illustrating the guidance of the terminology knowledge it offers to the specialized translation practice by studying the case of a multidisciplinary term "interoperability" with different Chinese versions."Interoperability" caused the issue of terminological confusion and the trouble of the denomination due to its complexity and obscurity of the concept.To solve the problem,the author tentatively puts forward three Chinese versions of the term concept by adopting the method of onomasiology with semasiology,namely the concept oriented approach in combination with the collocations of the meaning approach,for the purpose of determining the three Chinese senses and its related concept.
Research on the Chinese-English sign translation has become a hot issue in the modern society of China.Based on related theories and practice,this paper aims to make an induction and analysis about some misconceptions in the Chinese-English translation of signs.
There is limitation to the pluralism and popularization of terms, that is, the processes can not violate monosemy of terms, which should be differentiated by dictionary compliers. It is a dictionary＇s responsibility to tell a real term from its fake terms and variants （synonyms） and give readers clear instruction. A new dictionary, before embodying terms, should handle well the relationships between using frequency and etymon, general document and dictionary, general dictionary and special dictionary. The latter of each pair of the relationships is the gist. The criteria to judge the validity of a term are its monosemy, originativeness, or whether the term can reflect the essence of the notion.
In addition to words with meaning,part of speech and grammatical forms,the process is also reflected in the use of many features,such as fuzziness,ion,the relationship among words and so on.If the use of quantitative methods to describe these features,the number of words on the form features.This article attempts to use mathematics in terms of ambiguity, abstraction,and the relationship among words the extent of digital features discussed.
