Family counselors and therapists may focus on open communication, emotional expression, and strategies for addressing conflicts, while educators, policymakers, and community leaders may foster supportive environments and equitable access to education.

Chinese college students face significant psychological pressure, stemming from the stress of the college entrance examination, parental expectations for success, and fierce job market competition.Limited employment opportunities and lower salaries exacerbate feelings of anxiety and hopelessness.Without proper support channels, students may experience declining self-esteem, confidence, and increased susceptibility to depression, including bipolar disorder.Given the heavy academic workload and intense pressure, understanding students' symptoms, personality traits, and coping mechanisms is crucial for enhancing their mental well-being.This study explored personality traits, bipolar depressive symptoms, and coping mechanisms among junior college students in a Chinese Polytechnic University through a descriptive quantitative method. It aimed to describe respondents' profiles, determine differences and relationships among variables, and propose intervention plans.Survey questionnaire was administered to 375 respondents. The study highlighted a notable gender gap among respondents, emphasizing caution due to potential biases.Age-specific analysis is crucial given the majority falling within the 18-19 age range.Overrepresentation of first-year students and urban, public university attendees suggests caution in generalizing findings.Personality traits such as Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness, Friendliness, and Rigor are moderately assessed, indicating a balanced mix.The moderate total Bipolar Depression Rating Scale (BDRS) score suggests substantial but not extreme bipolar depression levels, with varied coping methods observed.Gender disparities in coping strategies and correlations between personality traits, bipolar depression, and coping underscore the need for tailored mental health support.Remarkable stability of Big-Five Personality Factors and BDRS scores across demographic profiles further strengthens these findings.

Nurses, the primary human resource in healthcare management, encounter several obstacles and concerns. They need to be adaptable to the changeable environment and in care with the patients wherein they should adapt to the current situations and make sure that health service would not be compromised. The study utilized the mixed method approach wherein both quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed, then compared the analysis of both data to see if they confirmed or disconfirmed with one another.Specifically, this study intended to identify the proposed programs for adaptation strategies of nurses to the ever-changing healthcare environment through a survey questionnaire answered by the respondents and interviewed four nurses using the above mentioned method.Based on quantitative findings, most of the respondents belonged to the 31-35 age group, female, Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate, junior staff nurses, and with 6-10 years length of service. In regards to the personal and interpersonal adaptation strategies of nurses, as well as the challenges they encountered were evaluated and statistically treated.A study of those subjected to adverse situations has repeatedly demonstrated that while some individuals show strong difficulties in adapting, others, even under the most difficult circumstances, maintain an adequate level of functioning and well-being.However, from the qualitative perspective, the researcher adopted Giorgi's approach in investigating the experiences of four nurses through interviews and transcription, where three significant themes emerged under the contributory factors. It dealt mainly with the personal and interpersonal adaptation strategies of nurses, as well as the challenges being encountered in its application. The researcher extracted a more compound and insightful view of the results of quantitative and qualitative methods to effectively design specific interventions, targeting significant sorts of events while addressing the underlying variables.Based on the study's findings, recommended intervention programs were developed.
This study focused on nurses in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a sample size of 40 staff nurses.Researchers used purposive and snowball sampling to gather data, considering the busy schedule and COVID-19 restrictions as convenient and simpler methods. This research paper employs regression analysis, T-test, frequency percentage, and weighted mean to estimate relationships between variables. The reliability test results are interpreted, and the 5-point Likert Scale assesses respondents' perspectives on the topic. The study found that the majority of nurses, mainly female, aged 28-35, were in emergency room departments in tertiary and secondary hospitals.Handover practices were found to be effective and operational, with a high frequency of use.Integrated handover practices were found to prioritize patient care, promote safety, and ensure accurate communication between outgoing and incoming nurses. These practices resulted in increased nurse satisfaction, improved patient information, and better patient transfers. However, barriers affecting handover practices included poor relationships, shift schedules, lack of teamwork, poor documentation, and interpersonal communication barriers. The study found a high statistically significant relationship between handover practices and their impact, but no significant relationship between the variables when grouped by demographic profiles. The recommendations include implementing proper handover practices by nurses at all hospital levels, conducting annual evaluations, designing systems to anticipate issues, offering annual training programs, and considering nursing schools' results for standardized handover models.
