
Due to the effect of temperature variation on the carrier mobility, the threshold voltage and other parameters about process and device, the temperature stability of CMOS amplifiers is often relatively poor. In this article, a temperature compensation technique for CMOS amplifiers using constant-gm reference current biasing circuit is presented. The results of theoretical analysis and circuit simulation confirmed the effectiveness of this technique for short-channel MOSFET, in addition to long-channel devices.

The discrete cosine transform (DCT) has been widely used as the core of digital image and video signal compression. In this paper, we present a high throughput 2D DCT architecture, which is well suited for the application in real-time image or video system. The 2D DCT calculation is made using the 2D DCT reparability property, such that the whole architecture is divided into two ID DCT. These are described in this paper, with an FPGA implementation and the Verilog synthesis results as well.
A 4∶1 MUX IC for optical-fiber-transmission systems designed with 0 18μm CMOS technology is presented in this paper. It is implemented in tree-type architecture with source coupled FET logic (SCFL) circuits. The simulation of the MUX IC shows that it can work at 12 5Gb/s and its power consumption is less than 400mW with 1.8V power supply. The layout of the MUX IC has been designed with Cadence; its size is 2.4mm 2. It is now being fabricated in TSMC.

本文较为详细地阐述了体硅CMOS结构中的闩锁效应,分析了CMOS结构中的闩锁效应的起因,提取了用于分析闩锁效应的集总组件模型,给出了产生闩锁效应的必要条件与闩锁的触发方式.通过分析表明,只要让CMOS电路工作在安全区,闩锁效应是可以避免的,这可以通过版图设计规则和工艺技术,或者两者相结合的各种措施来实现.本文最后给出了防止闩锁效应的关键设计技术.

A new current-mode multifunction filter with a single input and three outputs employing only three positive CCⅡs and five passive elements is presented in the paper. The circuit can be used to realize second low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, all-pass and notch current-mode filter functions, in addition, with low input impedance and high output impedance. No component matching is required and the sensitivities of all passive devices are low. The corresponding PSPICE simulation frequency responses of second-order filter are also given.
本文给出了一种LED数码管显示控制器的设计.该显示控制器具有三线串行接口、多种工作模式;可以最多控制8位7段LED数码管的显示或者64个单独的发光二极管;利用数控脉宽调制电路实现32级灰度控制.用VHDL描述了整个设计,并在Altera公司的EPF10K10LC84-3器件实现了该数码管显示控制器.
