The CS5513 made by CRYSTAL Corporation are △-∑ analog-to-digital converters at low cost and easy to use, which use the charge balance techniques to achieve the performance of 20 bit data. In this paper the performance and work principle of CS5513, including their typical hardware circuit interface and software programming method are introduced. At last, the application about A/D conversion techniques to high precision data gathering is simply expounded.
