The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship and difference among the continuous improvement tools such as just in time (JIT), total quality management (TQM), and lean six sigma (LSS). It also emphasizes these variable implementations and practices for competitiveness and achievement of integrated model development with common and unique success factors for a company's better competitiveness. Besides, it provides a case application evaluation of the model with the Bishoftu Automotive industry. Comparative study of TQM, JIT, LSS uses available literature critical analysis and knowledge of state of the art for competitive advantage. An in-depth analysis showed that a continuous improvement (CI) approach is necessary for the survival of industries in the dynamic and competitive market. Firms have employed CI strategies such as TQM, JIT, and LSS. However, most studies have demonstrated that factors concerning distinct approaches have advantages and limits in their situation. The integrated method would lead to the best competitive organization and resolve the shortcomings of each CI program. A thorough review of quality management (QM) methodology offers some possible explanations of why specific methods alone could not give an enterprise an absolute competitive advantage. This study, therefore, established an integrated model using the most commonly recognized variables by most research findings and practices. The research is exceptional in its scope by giving an insight into the advancement of CI and quality management in the context of an integrated model and introduced two new factors on existing CI factors.
The article substantiates the expediency of classifying labor law violations that are not crimes or misdemeanors of officials and employees in the field of public administration, to disciplinary offenses entailing non-material and material disciplinary liability, which must be provided for in the future Labor Code of Ukraine. This position is primarily due to the fact that a citizen (employee), being a general subject of a labor offense (as opposed to an employer as its special subject), is not endowed with official powers in public administration and cannot bear administrative (managerial) responsibility for committing an offense as detailed in the article.

Teacher knowledge is an aspect of dynamic and contextual competence. In the field of education, one form of knowledge considered suitable to global developments in the current 21st-century is teacher's technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). For this reason, this study examines the natural science teacher assessment results, measured employing an essay instrument. The assessment was carried out based on group differences in three factors considered influencing the assessment results. A total of 250 natural science teachers in Banten Province were voluntarily given questions within the TPACK framework to be done online. Automatic scoring was applied in this assessment to get a consistent score from the answers given by the participants. The assessment score data were then analyzed by descriptive-quantitative research methods. The first results revealed in this study were based on educational background factors, where the highest mean score was obtained by a group of teachers with less suitable educational backgrounds. In the teacher group based on different working periods, the highest mean score was attained by the group of teachers with more than ten years of working period. In addition, the analysis results by gender indicated that the mean score of female teachers was slightly higher than that of male teachers. In this case, there was no significant difference in the scores between the groups based on the different tests performed on all the compared factors.

Block-chain technology will allow more transparent and reliable end-to-end monitoring in the supply chain. Construction companies can digitize physical assets and establish a decentralized, secure database of all purchases, allowing assets to be monitored from source to distribution or used by the end consumer. We seek to guide construction supply chain research to leverage blockchain technology to enhance supply chain management in the construction industry. Although considerable research on opportunities that blockchain technology presents for supply chain management, little is known about the factors that will lead to better management of the construction supply chain. We first identify the opportunities that blockchain technology offers for the construction supply chain by conducting an extensive search on available literature. Next, the authors categorized the key benefits that can be leveraged by implementing blockchain technology into the construction supply chain. Finally, we present our results that implementing blockchain technology can positively impact supply chain management in the construction industry through improved transparency, traceability, information sharing, and trust among key stakeholders. These findings provide a promising measurement model for empirical research and a foundation for descriptive and normative research on blockchain applications for improved supply chain management in the construction industry.

Much research has been conducted to examine models related for understanding social satisfaction and the acceptance of e-government quality of services, but residents’ services is a significant research topic. This may be related to the point that not many investigations have been carried to realize inclusively the connection between the adoption and acceptance-of e-services and citizens’ satisfaction. This resulted in a wide gap between the adoption of e-government and necessity for the awareness concerning how citizens' happiness affects the use e-services. In relation, this experimental study aims at evaluating the effect of e-Government quality of services on citizens’ satisfaction and in Saudi Arabia from a conceptual perspective. The sample of the study included 500 participants who were mainly administrators and government employees. The researcher used a questionnaire survey to elicit data from participants. This study is based on the Expectation-Confirmation Theory (ECT) by Oliver (1980) extended by Bhattacherjee (2001). Also, the researcher adopted SPSS.v25 to conduct factor analysis, item-total correlation test, Cronbach’s alpha used to achieve the validity and reliability of the research instruments. The findings of the study showed that 58% said they used e-Government services to a “large” extent, 27% stated that they “somewhat” used e-Government services, whilst 15% of them said that they “little” used e-Government services Conceptually, the results may be taken at a basis for further investigations on e-Government quality of services’ evaluation to develop citizens’ satisfaction in Saudi Arabia, particularly within 2030 Vision. This study recommends future research be conducted.
Natural fibers have recently gained attention due to low environmental impact, biodegradability, low cost and easy availability. In this research work, water hyacinth (WH) fiber was used as reinforcement in the fabrication of the natural fiber composites. WH plant fiber reinforced high-density polyethylene (HDPE) thermoplastic composites were fabricated by compression molding process. Fabrication parameters such as water hyacinth content, alkali treatment concentration, treatment time and coupling agent amount were varied in three levels and composites specimens were fabricated according to Taguchi’s L9 orthogonal array. Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) was used to optimize the fabrication parameters. The results showed that the increase in WH fiber volume fraction, NaOH concentrations and treatment time increased the tensile and flexural strength of the composite up to some point and after that, it decreased. However, the strength of the composite was found to decrease with the increase of NaOH concentration and decrease of coupling agent concentration. ANOVA analysis revealed that the water hyacinth particle content had the highest contribution to tensile and flexural strength, followed by coupling agent dosage, treatment time, and NaOH concentration in order. Mechanical properties were optimized when the WH/HDPE composite fabricated with 30% water hyacinth fiber treated with 5wt% NaOH concentration for 12 hours and mixed with 15% coupling agent. The simultaneous effects of fabrication parameters on tensile and flexural strength of the WH/HDPE composites were studied. The fabricated WH/ HDP composite can be used as a viable alternative material for making furniture, ceiling, tile and partition boards.
The article analyzes the scientific approaches of scientists regarding evolution, the essence and features of the concepts of responsibility, social responsibility, legal responsibility. It is stated that responsibility is determined by the level of development of public consciousness, the level of social relations, and existing social institutions. Responsibility as a social phenomenon can manifest itself in a positive way by receiving remuneration, and in a negative way as a reflection for committing offenses. The classification of responsibility as a social phenomenon depends on the sphere of social activity, in connection with which political, moral, social, legal and other types of responsibility are distinguished. It is theoretically substantiated that legal responsibility differs from other types of social responsibility in formal certainty, mandatory observance of legal norms, state control over their implementation, application of state coercion to the offender, prevention of offenses and the protection of law and order. The measure of responsibility in public and private legal relations has been determined. In this study public tort (crime and misconduct) is analyzed, problematic issues are outlined and proposals for their improvement are provided. The types of legal responsibility for committing offenses (tort) are considered. Attention is focused on the fact that responsibility is a prerequisite for the development and effective functioning of the state, its effectiveness depends on the mechanisms for implementing responsibility in front of the person and is determined by the level of development of public consciousness, the level of social relations, existing social institutions. The key task of responsibility is fair application and inevitability of punishment.
