The deaths of millions of people are on the one hand and the economy crisis on the other. The first problem comprises saving people from death, and the second in saving the universe against economic crises. But both challenges are inconsistent. If individuals want to preserve lives, a remain at home and a social distance policy are imposed, and the country is shut down. However, we can rescue our citizens living, but the economy collapses fast because all the companies in the country have been shut down. If economic crisis is saved, people are supposed to go out and work as normal, the global economy would boost but soon millions or billions of people are lost who will also have an impact on the economic downturn. Policymakers, doctors and manufacturers of health should work together to identify solutions to benefit both individuals living and saving economic crisis.
The optimization of spatial network connections for tourism efficiency is a prerequisite for the high-quality development of the tourism economy. There is limited understanding, however, of the evolution characteristics of the spatial network structure of tourism efficiency in the extant literature. In this study, super data envelopment analysis (DEA) and social network analysis (SNA) were employed to explore the evolution characteristics of the spatial network structure of tourism efficiency in China at the provincial level from the years 2011– to 2016. The results show that overall tourism efficiency in China exhibited a slight decline. The order of the spatial distribution features by region was eastern, central, northeastern and western. This study demonstrates that the network density of tourism efficiency decreased during the sample period . Additionally, the results indicate that there was a rigid network hierarchy structure, and the core-periphery structure of the tourism efficiency network exhibited clusters.

As of August 2021 with over 1.6 M combined deaths, USA, India, and Brazil had the highest number of COVID-19 infections. This paper examines the populations of the USA and India, with a combined 70 M infections and counting, to provide a comprehensive overview and explore the social implications of COVID-19. For the US, our multivariable regression model was statistically significant between COVID-19 deaths and age/race/residence-states. The trends in age and residence states were significant while the trend for gender was not. However, individual’s age and residence state played a significant role in determining life or death? Socio-economic analysis confirmed the Qualitative socio-economic Logic based Cascade Hypotheses (QLCH) of education/occupation/income affecting race/ethnicity differently. For a given race/ethnicity, education drives occupation then income, where people lives, and in turn his/her access to healthcare coverage. Considering the QLCH framework, different races are poised for differing effects of COVID-19; specifically, Asians/Whites are in a stronger position to combat COVID-19 compared to Hispanics/Blacks. For India, the residence-states were found to be statistically significant in a regression of nationality/residence states/and counts for total cases/deaths/and cured. A logistics regression model analyzing age/gender/nationality/and residence states was also statistically significant. Both sexes were affected equally by the virus while age/residence states played important roles in life/death. Higher urban populated states with higher GDP creation had the highest virus related deaths, explaining the forced avoidance of social distancing effect.

Homosexuals often conceal their identity in the fear of being socially excluded. The lack of familial support that could possibly arise upon disclosing their sexual preference could bring in detrimental effect on the Individual, Family and the Society. In a country like India where the culture is strongly conservative with minimum families adopting modern-liberal outlook, family and social support is seen as the biggest source of strength and it does act like a protective factor in unexpected times of turbulence. However disclosing one’s own sexual preference may not benefit the Individual as there is a constant fear of social rejection. Since there is no or limited freedom for them to express their orientation despite the legislation passed in their favor facilitating for an inclusive society, the situation still remains grave and all this consequently leads to emotional repression leading to depression. Previous researchers have given insights on the correlates of repressed emotions on a person's Well-being. Mental health-related classification systems of the World Health Organization and American Psychiatric Association also do not deem homosexuality as a disorder. Unfortunately, homosexuality continues to be stigmatized. The family and social support provides greater self-esteem and psychological strength that is also reflected in the overall general health. On the contrary no support makes them vulnerable to could lead to suicidal ideation. In addition to this the discrimination faced in the society and stigmatized by the very own family can be catastrophic. Undoubtedly Perceived social support is a consistent predictor of well-being Ability to express one’s emotion on the sensitive issues without the fear of being judged indicates social acceptance. Self – acceptance and self love is supported and built partly by the constructs of the support received and the rest stems from the emotional regulative behavior adopted by oneself. This paper aims to understand on the effects of social exclusion on the self, family and society and also explores on the possible solutions for a more holistic society.
