
Spaces for employment and residence form the skeleton of urban layout.Although their carbon confinement is evident in the academic circle,little attention is paid to the employment-residence separated and long-distance motorized commuting clusters,and the difference in low carbon pathways is not fully taken into account.Based on qualitative and quantitative analyses,three types of employment and residence space are illustrated,and the different elements of carbon confinement are recognized to establish a low carbon optimization strategy:first,residence dominated clusters shall adjust land use structure towards a compact and mixed use pattern;second,employment-residence balanced clusters shall focus on central places for a multi-centered wide range structure;third,employment dominated clusters shall stress employment-residence connection and establish a green transit system.

The systematic farmland protection is significant to national food and ecological security.With an analysis of the quantity,quality,and ecological needs of farmland protection,an analytical framework of systematic protection with rigidity,elasticity,and resilience is established based on the essence of farmland protection.The study shows that in farmland protection,bottom line constraint and use control are the foundation,elastic land consolidation and layout improvement are the tool,and resilient functional balance and system stability are the essence.The rigid-elastic combined use control,internal and external forces supported resilience improvement,and eco-produce value realization incentive are the major content and orientation of"rigid,elastic,resilient"systematic farmland protection.
Conventional strategies for arable land protection,primarily centered on"controlling non-agricultural development"encountering the challenges of diverse demands of food security under the big food approach and the objectives of sustainable arable land utilization within the ambit of the comprehensive food strategy.Through a comprehensive examination and synthesis of the interconnections between the big food approach and food security,arable land protection,and the expansion of national land resources,the inherent rationale that connects the big food approach with the governance of"non-grain production"on cultivated land is elucidated.Further spatial governance strategies and safeguards for the"non-grain production"of cultivated land are proposed,aiming to provide insights and references for arable land resource protection and spatial optimization allocation in the future.
As the demonstrative zone of innovative development and pioneer zone of high quality development,the national high-tech zone helps bolster the cultivation of innovative activities and development of innovative economy.Introducing innovation ecosystem theory and concepts of innovation group and innovation population,the national high-tech zone innovative space system,dominated by innovative space cluster and innovative space unit,is established.The organizational logic of innovative space cluster is concentration for heterogeneous subjects in technology application,knowledge production,and service expansion,and the organization logic of innovative space unit is composite and diversified spaces for the behavioral needs of innovative groups and enterprises.
Traditional Chinese human settlement is an urban-rural integrity with a space spectrum of"city-countryside-nature".Since the modern times,China has experienced urban-rural dual development before entering the stage of urban-rural integrity.With the backdrop of urban-rural China and the trend of regional urbanization,the concept of"regional human settlement unit"is proposed.Its driving force and formation mechanism are analyzed from the viewpoint of cultural geography,and its characters are discussed in the aspects of unit system,unit zoning,and external features.The concept may define the clear object for territorial space design and offer a solution for the the problem of same image of cities at regional scale.
As cities in the Pearl River Delta enter the period of urban redevelopment,their needs in public facilities optimization brought about by population structure change have to be addressed through urban renewal.By a comparative study of Shenzhen,Guangzhou,and Dongguan in their policies,measures,and incentives for land provision of public welfare land in urban renewal,their experiences,lessons,and innovative achievements are concluded.Furthermore,suggestions of strengthening rigid control,establishing incentive mechanism,and improving supporting systems are put forward to provide a reference and guidance for land provision of public welfare land in urban renewal.
Detailed planning in the system of territorial space planning continues and expands previous regulatory plans,and its core objective has shifted from"construction control"to"spatial governance".Based on the new requirements of"one blueprint governance",integration of whole area and all elements,combination of compilation and management in territorial space detailed planning,the development trends of detailed planning are summarized:whole time transmission,whole area and all elements control,and whole process management.Five optimization paths are put forward:smooth transmission path,full coverage of detailed planning,improving detailed planning efficacy,building digital platforms,and improving the standard system,so as to guide the optimization of detailed planning compilation and management system.

The improvement and innovation of urban governance shall undergo a digital,intelligent,and smart development path toward the modernization of urban governance system and capability.With an analysis of traditional planning implementation,an urban renewal planning path of"capture-build a database-make a decision"is proposed based on CIM smart platform.In the practice of Baiyun district,Guangzhou,the characters of the stock resource are analyzed,and the stock resource are integrated,diagnosed,and managed based on CIM smart platform with a dynamic urban renewal planning strategy,which is hoped to promote the innovation of urban renewal planning technique and strategy,and deal with the complex balancing problems in urban renewal.
The essence of farmland protection is its production capacity under the"three in one"requirements of quantity,quality,and ecology,which calls for a long-term mechanism of farmland protection with multi-stakeholder collaboration.With an analysis of the internal needs and practical dilemma of building a long-term mechanism of farmland protection,a number of strategies are proposed:improving the consciousness of farmland protection,strengthening territorial space planning regulation,enhancing the executive power of institutions,and stimulating the internal force of operators,which provides a reference for building a long-term mechanism of farmland protection as well as guaranteeing national food security.
On the basis of the reflection on the comprehensive transportation development problems and the summary of international experience,a"one goal-three systems-one guarantee"technical framework for the synergistic planning of territorial space and comprehensive transportation in the metropolitan region is proposed.In combination with some domestic metropolitan region planning cases,the collaborative planning strategies are proposed.The study suggests that the comprehensive transportation should establish a systematic and coordinated planning thinking,break through the simple logic of the traditional"point-axis"backbone,emphasize the support of the traffic network for the networked spatial pattern of the metropolitan region.Meanwhile the transportation should have efficient coordination with other functional elements such as ecology,industry,public service,etc,and pay attention to the multi-level coordination and integrated layout.At the same time,coordination guarantee mechanism shall be provided,in order to provide technical ideas for the compilation of comprehensive transportation in the territorial spatial planning of the metropolitan region.
The protection of public interest is essential to regulatory planning,and the alteration of regulatory planning and design stipulations shall be public interest oriented.With a comprehensive understanding of the practical problems,the stipulations,procedure,and public participation in the adjustment of regulatory planning concerning public interest protection are deeply analyzed.An optimized path of planning and design adjustment is established based on two practical cases in Donghu hi-tech district of Wuhan city:assessing environmental impact,adding public interest content,optimizing adjustment procedure,and improving the mechanism for public participation,which will balance the efficiency and equity in the adjustment of regulatory planning stipulations.
In the era of high quality development,urban construction stresses the coexistence and prosperity of city,nature,and people.Meanwhile,the construction of transportation hubs has entered the stage of TOD4.0.It is characterized by integration between urban and transportation functions,and the interaction of city,nature,and people.With a comparison of different stages of TOD,the key points and strategies of landscape design for transportation hub areas at TOD4.0 stage are explored,and exemplified in the practice of Shenzhen-Shantou transportation hub area landscape design.

In order to promote urban development transition of high-density areas,and cultivate low-carbon and green production and lifestyle,the cognition of integrating urban and natural landscapes shall be reshaped in three aspects:from"green and blue space"to"whole area and all elements",from"spatial resource"to"ecological experience",from"landscape viewpoint"to"three spaces integration".A planning strategy framework of integrating urban and natural landscapes of high-density area is proposed,which aims to create an urban community integrating ecology,lifestyle,and experiences.Additionally,the promotion of leisure trips is outlined based on principles embracing natural features,urban proximity,and quality production.The creation of appealing public spaces is envisioned around"gateway nodes,communal areas,and historic-cultural landmarks",fostering culturally enriched and diverse experiences.The practical application of these concepts is demonstrated through a case study in the Nanwan area of Shenzhen,providing valuable insights for high-density urban development in the new era.
Isolated green and blue urban spaces are difficult to deal with the resource,environment,and social problems in the era of urban redevelopment.To build a blue-green coordinated system and maximize their service effects,the composition of elements,functions,structures of the urban blue-green system are reorganized in the context of urban renewal and territorial space planning,and the functional orientation,land acquisition,spatial layout,and planning implementation of the blue-green system are analyzed,and an integral planning framework and some countermeasures are proposed.The practical application of the integral planning is discussed based on the practice of Hekou district blue-green system,Dongying city,Shandong province.
The periodic change of urban resident and their social activities has led to the diversification and flowing switching of community public space in the internet age.Learning from the theory of scenes and the theory of flow spaces,a"flowing renewal"method for community public space is explored based on the modular composition of socializing scenes.Four groups of activities(learning&intelligence,sports&fitness,literary&artistic performances,recreation&entertainment),three groups of residents(gender,age,and occupation),and six time zones(dawn,morning,noon,afternoon,evening,night)are taken as situational socialization elements,and the distribution and scale attribute,interface features,facility configuration are taken as the responsive spatial elements.By matching and associating the situational socialization elements and the responsive spatial elements,the method creates flowing social scenes in a fixed space,to realize flexible response of public spaces to the changing needs of residents.
设计说明: 基于"城市针灸"理念进行满福之滨·兰州郑家庄片区的城市更新与设计,用地以居住用地、教育用地及工业用地为主.兰州因河而生、因人而兴,人逐水而居、城依河而建,周边文化旅游资源丰富.设计以"问题诊断,针灸微改"为方向,挖掘并完善可利用的绿地空间,重点对位于黄河风情带南滨河中路的街道景观进行微更新设计,设计地块占地面积约为15 hm2.设计塑造了3个主要节点:体验漫街、生长蔓街、交互慢街,并提取兰州丝路文化、黄河文化元素进行设计、重构,以营造生生不息的金城文旅形象、蓝绿交织的活力景观、安居乐业的烟火气息.
In order to promote the implementation of the national strategy of"Healthy China",the Assessment Standards for Healthy Urban District for related planning and design is formulated for practical operation.The standard defines the framework of the assessment standards for healthy urban district,including three aspects:urban space and facilities,natural environment and climate,and social atmosphere and guarantee.Detailed content is interpreted in the three levels of the standard,aiming to provide reference for healthy city planning and construction practice.
