Conventional complete denture fabrication is a complex, multi-step clinical procedure. This clinical report presents a novel digital modality utilizing multifunctional custom trays based on a virtual patient. These trays consolidate key clinical steps-including definitive impressions, esthetic preview of the maxillary teeth, and jaw relation records-into a single appointment, thereby reducing procedural complexity and minimizing the repeated insertions and removals of different appliances throughout the treatment course. This functional integration enhances patient comfort, facilitates improved patient-physician communication during the treatment planning phase, and enables more predictable esthetic outcomes through early anterior tooth preview. The complete denture can be fabricated within three clinical visits.
ABSTRACT A pregnant woman with hereditary antithrombin deficiency was managed with adjusted‐dose LMWH throughout pregnancy, monitoring D‐dimer and anti‐Xa activity, successfully preventing thrombosis and hemorrhage.
ABSTRACT Desmoplastic infantile ganglioglioma should be considered when an infant presents with a suprasellar mass, nystagmus, and developmental delay. Deep midline location limits resection, so BRAF V600E testing matters: it can open a targeted treatment option when surgery cannot control the disease.
ABSTRACT Dimethyl fumarate may rarely cause severe hepatocellular injury. In a 26‐year‐old woman, liver enzymes rose soon after treatment initiation, and biopsy supported DILI. Updated RUCAM assessment yielded 6, indicating probable causality, supported by dechallenge. Negative ANA reduced autoimmune hepatitis likelihood, although untested hepatitis E limited alternative‐cause assessment and causal certainty.
ABSTRACT Dental rehabilitation restored functional oral intake after gastrectomy, followed by long‐term improvement in BMI and stabilization of hematologic, iron‐status, and metabolic parameters. A risk‐adapted multidisciplinary approach combining medical optimization and oral rehabilitation may benefit selected patients with post‐gastrectomy malnutrition.
