Problem-Solving skills is one of the four main competencies that children must prepare and possess to survive and succeed in facing the 21st century. This ability is not innate, so it can be taught and improved by being encouraged by practice. To be able to solve a problem, one must have a deep understanding. Therefore, in learning, the ability to understand is a part of which the goals are increasingly being paid attention to for all students in each subject or course. Mathematica software is a form of information and communication technology tools that can support the mathematics learning process. This study's objectives are 1) to determine the average level of improvement in students' understanding skills by learning tutorial model assisted by Mathematica software; 2) knowing the magnitude of the increase in student problem-solving abilities by learning tutorial models assisted by Mathematica software. This research is a quantitative study using the one-group pretest-posttest design method. The population in this study were students of STKIP Surya who took the Calculus course. With a large sample of 30 people. Sampling was done using purposive sampling. And the instrument used is a test. The results of the data analysis above show that there is an increase in students' understanding and solving abilities after learning using Mathematica Software. The amount of increase in students' mathematical understanding skills in the high category. Likewise, the increase in mathematical problem-solving skills in the high category. This shows that Mathematica software can be used to improve student understanding and problem-solving skills. Keywords- Mathematica, mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills.
This research aimed to study management of education for employment and application of STEM in education management for employment in Thailand. This research is a qualitative research. The sample group consisted of 3 groups: experts in basic education management at the secondary level, expertsin manpower production management, and group of successful workerswho did not have a bachelor's degree. The sampling size was 106 samples. All 3 groups of experts must have knowledge and / or apply STEM in the management of education or in the workplace. The researcher conducted the study through in-depth interviews. And analyzing the results with content analysis technique. The research was found that 1) In the past, educational management for employment focused on employment of skilled labor after graduating with a bachelor's degree. Some of them focused on having a job at the semi-skilled level after graduation from vocational education (another 2 years) after secondary education. As for having a job in the future, there have been completely different perspectives. That are, secondary school graduates needed to discover their ownneeds, to gain more work experiences, and to have income as soon as possible after graduation. After working for some period of time, they will seek more advanced knowledge or continue studying at the bachelor's degree level in order to have further successes in their working. 2) Application of STEM in education management for employment in Thailand is the way to increase their skills to find out their needs or to apply STEM to increase their working skills successfully. Guidelines for the application of STEM in educational management can be done in both developmental dimensions: during secondary education and additional experience trainings upon completion of secondary school in a short course manner according to aptitudeand interest.
This article presents the results of evaluating the therapeutic efficacy of specific allergic vaccination in 77 children with allergy of micro-mite etiology. The age of children was in the range of 7-14 years, including 7-12 years old - 29 (37.7%), 12-14 years old - 48 (62.3%). In general, of the total number of patients (77) who received specific treatment, excellent results were observed in 26 (33.7–4.2%). In this group of patients, after treatment, all the main symptoms of the disease completely disappeared. Good results were observed in 39 (50.6–4.4) patients. In this group of patients, most of the symptoms of the disease disappeared or the intensity of their severity was weakened. Satisfactory results were observed in 11.7% of patients. In this group of patients, the symptoms of the disease remained, but the intensity of their manifestation was weakened. In 3.9% of patients, the treatment effect was absent. It turned out that the therapeutic effectiveness of specific therapy lasts for 1-3 years. So, good and excellent results were achieved after 1 year - 62.8%, after 2 years - 55.4%, and after 3 years - 50.0%. The use of a new method of allergen-specific immunotherapy of children suffering from allergic diseases: the combined method (inhalation of the allergen + its electrophoresis through the skin) of immunotherapy compares favorably with the known traditional (multiple injection methods) with great therapeutic efficiency, does not cause negative side local and general reactions, does not give complications, lengthen remission.
With the rapid evolution of technology, data size has increased as well. Thus, open the door to a new challenge of finding patterns such as the limitation of memory and time and the one pass to the whole data. Many clustering techniques has been developed to overcome these issues. Streaming data evolve with time, and that makes it almost impossible to define clusters number in that data. Density-based algorithm is one of the significant data clustering class to overcome this issue due to it doesn’t require an advance knowledge about the number of clusters. This paper reviewed some of the existing density-based clustering algorithms for the data stream with the measurement used to evaluate the algorithm. Â
Power line spike signal time-domain conduction emission test is involved in the electromagnetic compatibility test of military equipment and automotive electronics, and the power supply compatibility test of aircraft electrical equipment. Although the purpose of the test is the same, the test methods in each standard are different and incomplete. Based on the comparative analysis of the three methods, this paper proposes a new test method and result interpretation principle to make the test more repeatable and consistent.
