The question of the combination of the gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) with the coronary heart disease of the same patient has the particular applicability. The study includes 235 patients aged 43-86 having the chronic form of the coronary heart disease. During the study it was found out that 14,9% of the coronary heart disease have the signs of the GERD. It is noted that the combination of the GERD and coronary heart disease causes the mutual increase of the clinical manifestations of the diseases and their transformation. It is importaint to consider this fact when such patients are being examined and treated
