Presentation of CaseA seven-day-old girl was admitted to the hospital because of an intrathoracic mass.She was born in the 39th week of an uncomplicated third pregnancy to a mother aged 18 years. Delivery was vaginal, with forceps assistance under local anesthesia; the Apgar scores were 9 at one minute and 10 at five minutes. The umbilical cord contained three vessels. The weight was 2.8 kg. Scattered rales were heard on auscultation of the thorax; no other abnormality was found. At the age of three days another examination showed that the lungs were clear, and the child was discharged . . .
