An illustrative apparatus includes a pump housing having a distal end attachable to a medical device and a longitudinal axis, a piston slidably receivable within the pump housing, and a handle rotatably attachable to the pump housing and the piston. The piston is configured to create a seal between a distal portion of the pump housing and a proximal portion of the pump housing. The handle includes a portion that is configured to move in a direction different from the longitudinal axis of the pump housing.
