Lately, tremendous progress of hemoglobin A1c ( HbA1c) in the practice of monitoring and diagnosis of diabetes was witnessed, including the standardization of measurement of HbA1c, the emerging of estimated average glucose,its relationship with HbA1c and application in the monitering of diabetes,and application of HbA1c≥6.5% as diagnostic criteria of diabetes. However, since HbA1c can be affected by many factors,and its relationship with diabetic complications is not completely clear,reporting HbA1c as estimated average glucose,or using it as diagnostic criteria is yet to be further investigated.
To establish the rat model of aristolochic acid(AA) nephropathy and study intervention effect of salvianolic acid B(SalB) on aristolochic acid,the author used salt-depleted rats fed orally,measured biological markers of renal function,and adopted mouse lymphoma assay microwell method.The result showed that the change of urinary β2-microglobulin,urinary N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase,serum creatinine and BUN of two groups of rats which had been fed orally with AA(5 mg/kg·d) and AA(5 mg/kg·d) + SalB(10 mg/kg·d) accorded to academic results;the result of MLA indicated that at the dose of 100 μg/mL and 200 μg/mL,salvianolic acid B had intervention effect toward aristolochic acid,it could reduce the cytotoxicity and mutagenic toxicity of aristolochic acid,200 μg/mL of salvianolic acid B had better effects.
